[Normally Karui would be using video, something that is just easier on herself. But not today, she has things she'd like to hide. Things she's not willing to let other people see, especially one person in particular. One she refuses to speak to any more than they already have. Incidents and the like.

After a deep breath she starts, voice significantly softer and seemingly more calm than her previous post had been. There's the sound of metal against brick, though the origin of it might not be apparently obvious.]

Hey. I know I probably started on the wrong foot coming here, but that's... kind of from a few different things. See, back home we were about to get into a war that would have an impact on our whole world. I was uptight, anxious, annoyed that we were even dealing with that nonsense. And I'd, I guess, like to apologize for any outbursts I had. I'm usually not that bad, but without Omoi here it's... harder to control.

[Going silent for a moment she mulls over what next to say, knowing full well what she wants to say, but not entirely how to go about it.]

From reading over things I see that some people were... possessed to do things they normally wouldn't do. Becoming, for a lack of a better term, evil. While I could normally understand something like this since we've got genjutsu and ninjutsu that can cause such things, there's certain things I'm not willing to forgive. This... death thing, I get what you were telling me, I don't want to experience it again. How do you go about the road to forgiving someone if it's even possible? I'm not going to take back what I said, but it does seem to cause a rift between myself and... others.

[A cough punctuates her words, tone finally taking on something that seems less serious and more... friendly, as it were.]

Anyone capable with a sword interested in sparring? Hell, anyone from Thor wanting some hand-to-hand? I think I understand how to use this powers stuff, but I'd rather not hurt anyone to where they have to go to a healer for broken bones. Not my kind of thing, you know.

I've got a sword and willing to spar. That aside, forgiveness is tricky. It's unique to the individual what they'll do and how they'll go about it. Basically, talk a bit see what resolutions can be had because communication is pretty much everything when it comes to that. Good luck.

How long have you been using a sword? And I... guess that's what I have to do, though it's kind of difficult to do when you've essentially burned bridges.

If the bridge is burnt, build a new one. Not as easy as it sounds, but better than nothing. Either way, it will take a while. [He has a bit too much experience with it and hasn't been successful yet.]

That's what I was afraid of, guess it's the only option I have as far as that goes. Once I come to terms with the whole thing. [That's what she doesn't want, the whole thing to take some time. She likes having resolutions to her problems quickly.]

Good to hear, sounds like you might be on my level. Any particular style you've taken up or is it something you've devised?

My style is partly based on my ancestor's, partly my own. One could call it a family tradition, each improving the style a little.

Anyway, yeah that's pretty much the only option. Just take your time and don't rush it. Whatever comes of it, will come. Doesn't make it any easier, but can't do shit about that.

Guess so. Kid blamed that being possessed crap, not sure if I want to believe him or not. No one can just turn around immediately and go after people if there wasn't some sort of predisposition there.

Theres an arena for training and a hospital, they aren't very close together though.

Yeah, I did. Not in the most pleasant of ways. [It's still weird to talk so openly about being killed, about being alive again. So weird.]

Ah, thought that was an arena. And I sort of guessed on the hospital bit, otherwise I wouldn't have died in the first place. [There's no malice in the words, in fact, there's a tiny bit of amusement instead.]
