Still, having spent some time looking at what others have said, she's finally realized that they were cursed. Not that it makes it any better, mind you, but at least there is an answer.

I heard something about curses, but Ah don't know too much about them... [Her brow furrows, and her lips tug downward for a moment, before she draws in a breath and lets it out.] A lot of you probably saw- well, John and Bobby- [And that says it all, she hopes.] An' some of you said they were cursed...

[Voice trailing off.] But, is there some reason why they would be? And how does that even happen? [Something you eat? Something you do?] And, Ah guess, how long do these things usually last...?

[Because if it is forever... Bobby had mentioned a week, but Bobby wasn't exactly thinking straight.] Ah just don't know a lot about these curses.

He was uncertain as to what she was referring to, other than the two boys he'd met recently, but that they were here as well as her had Kurt wriggling just a little in excitement.]

As many others have all ready mentioned: curses are implemented by the deities of this world for all types of reasons.

Mostly it is done out of anger while other times it is to collect more emotions out of a certain individual. The more powerful the emotions are, then the more color will be offered to this world.

Your friends will be all right after a few days. Each curse varies in length, but they won't go pass a week.

If you have any more inquiries, then I do not mind answering as best as I can.

Yes. I have not witnessed a curse going any longer than seven days. Unless it was a city-wide one, of course.
