018 [Video] | Joint post
[Hello Asgard, there is a familiar--to some--face on the network, which hasn’t been seen in awhile. Castiel is back from being grey, and he’s never taking off his bracelet again.
Okay, he totally will, but not without good reason.
Being grey hadn’t been bad, really, as he didn’t remember much of it, but that itself isn’t pleasant, and so he’s a bit displeased with life. Not to mention he’s been gone for a few weeks, and he’s certain that a great deal has happened in his absence.]
It seems we have been gone for some time.
[At least his voice is back, though it’s quiet and serious as he speaks.]
I am certain we have missed something of import. Is everyone accounted for? What happened?
[Where are their friends; are they still here, or have they gone?
Both of which are good questions, save for the fact that when Daphne appears on the screen, it doesn’t look like she was a willing active participant in the making of this film. Her hair is slightly messy and she looks sleepy, dressed in an overlarge shirt that hangs off of her shoulders a little. She hears Castiel speaking more than notices the recording and promptly drapes herself over his shoulders, kissing his jaw lazily.]
You should come back to bed.
[It’s said in a rather informative, but sleepy tone, and she rests against his back with her arms still loosely curled around his neck.
Castiel frowns back at her, not because he dislikes the attention but because he is doing something important. Also because he doesn’t like being affectionate in public.]
Daphne, this is not the time.
You’re the one who turned on the camera, not me. Now let’s see…
[She reaches out with a hand to adjust Castiel’s bracelet, smiling peacefully at the recorder from her position on her husband’s shoulder.]
Hello, Asgard. As you can see, we’re back -- and if you need emergency healing, please go to the Sigyn hospital. If the hospital needs us, then we’ll be called. Sam, Dean, and Jo can come by to visit in an hour, along with Arthur and Morgana and the rest -- but until then, we’re unavailable.
[And Daphne presses her lips against Castiel’s neck before inching her fingers toward the bracelet.]
Satisfied?
[And the feed clicks off as soon as Daphne finds the button on her husband’s bracelet.]

She's really just thrilled that she's back in Asgard -- and not only is she back in Asgard, but Castiel is with her.
She couldn't have more of a reason to be happy than that.]
Don't be mad at me.
[Once she's done laughing into his pajamas, her voice muffled as she circles her arms a little tighter in a hug.]

I'm not, but this isn't humorous.

[She squeezes him gently before resting her chin on his shoulder, still content.]
There's nothing else that could make me happier than coming back to this place with you.

That public display of affection aside. ]
I was not in the city at the time, but Thiazi attacked.

and after aforementioned hour, Daphne has her own bracelet working and operational, though she's still in bed. Being grey for so long causes an unpleasant whiplash when you come back to reality.]
Is everyone alright?

Most are... coping, from what I can see.

Next time keep the PDA off the network and in the bedroom.
[That's as close as he'll come to praising Cas for finding someone. You have to learn to read between the lines with him.]
Sam's still gone. Starting to think he got sent back...
[He sighs, brings his palm up to his forehead and rubs.]
As for what happened, Thiazi poisoned a few people and everything turned into mass hysteria. No one was sleeping, everyone was on edge, a few people bit it.
[There's a pause, some reluctance before he switches the feed to private.]
[Private]
What can you do healing wise?
video. same filter. daphne>cas>dean.
[It's said simply as Daphne just utilizes Castiel's bracelet, frowning at the news of Sam, gently tightening her hug around Castiel's shoulders.]
I can heal anything. Castiel's powers are different than mine.
video. same filter.
And he's glad to see Dean's still here, even if he's worried about Sam.]
Hello, Dean.
I can absorb anything that is actual damage, though I cannot resolve illness. I can also drain blood loss, which the healing power cannot do.
What happened with Thiazi?

Y'all kind of missed the entire city going batshit, but what else is new?
[ guess who hasn't slept in weeks just guess. ]
It's good to see you back, though.
video; private;
It's pretty par for the course.
[With a slight smile, drawing up her legs against her chest.]
Are you okay?
video; private;
[ meaning they don't just come back alive. something that jo honestly feels a little bad about. the guilt that comes with holing herself up for the time being.
jo shrugs a little, running her hand behind her neck. ]
I'm alive, and I haven't...killed anyone. That I know of. [ an important distinction to make. ] So I guess okay.

Most of us are trying to piece together what happened while we were gone as well. Some of us went to Vanaheim and then came back to chaos.

You were missed, both of you. But it's probably a good thing you weren't around to see the mess.
[He's glad you weren't dragged into Thiazi's games, even if Dean was sulking within you.]

[With a quiet frown after that hour reprieve, still wrapped in her blankets in bed.]
Are you alright, Merlin?

[Castiel doesn't quite agree with the sentiment about it being good to not be around.]
