[Claudia does not wish to show her face for the moment, though she is considerable calm and matter-of-fact when she speaks. Her tone, however, is gentle, as she is the bearer of bad news.]
There has been an incident. The pet store in Freya's district-- Mi dispiace. There was a break in. Many of the animals have been killed.
[She doesn't want to go into detail. Though she likes animals and pets, herself, she knows there are many, many others who would be distressed to hear of the carnage that she found. She wants this message to be brief and professional.]
There were two of them. Men. I tried to follow them but could not. I believe one of them was using some sort of shadow ability.
[LOOKING AT YOU, HEL HOUSE.]
Please, take care of those around you. And if I could speak to the proprietor of the pet store, I would be most grateful.
[She needs to tell them about what actually happened to their pets, oops.]

Scott's immediate reaction is to run straight over there but knowing he'll find dead animals... it puts him off going. He kind of wants to curl up and cry right now. He loved all the animals like they were his own pets. ]
I- I'm the owner. [ It's obvious from his voice that he sounds upset. ]
voice;
Mi dispiace. I'm very sorry. I did not get there until it was...too late.
voice;
Apparently his best isn't good enough though because this is the second time something has happened to his store and he can't help but feel responsible for the dead animals. ]
Thank you for trying to follow the people responsible.
Could you... could you tell how the animals died? Did it look like they suffered? [ Please say no. ]

He does know one person who uses shadows and has had less than stellar reviews on his 'help' with the animals, he's got to ask. There isn't any way he can't.]
--I don't suppose you have any other details on who you saw? Shadow seems to be kind of common in the house, I... know a lot more people with that one than control.
[video]
Unfortunately, no.
[But then she pauses, looking thoughtful.]
...One of them may have had a large dog with him. There were bloody pawprints in the store, much larger than any dog I have seen before.
[video]
I'll keep an eye out then, thank you. Good thing at least some of us are keeping their heads-- it's hard enough to do lately.

[It's disbelief, shock- a little heartbreak in there somehow.]
No- no. We spent the last month getting that place up and running again.

[These owners sound so young. Claudia's disheartened that this has happened to them.]

[A degree less enthused than usual. Humans dying was just fine. Animals were a bit different.]
If you get any leads, I'll to~tally kill them myself.

[Except...]
Unless you know someone who has a very large dog in their possession?

And no, not really- just normal-sized dogs! How big are we talking about?

Oh my god! Seriously? Things are turning pretty dangerous... I'm sorry for all those animals... [She looks sad.]
Was someone else hurt?

[Which is bad enough considering what she found.]

So their cruelty isn't limited to our own.
[As far as he's concerned, Thiazi is rubbing their faces in it now.]
Did they see you, Claudia?
voice;
[The death of everything, perhaps.]
They must have. They put up some kind of barrier to prevent me from following them. I had no time to keep myself hidden, not when I could have caught up to them.
voice;
Then we will find them again. Do not worry, Claudia. I'd rather see you safe than outnumbered and among their victims.

[It's asked quickly and somewhat bluntly because yes, he's going to find out what he has to do to save his buddy bro from seeing any of that.]
Video
[Get your friend out of there, buddy, because Claudia doesn't want him to see how bad it is.]

[Which she can probably see as the screen starts to move before switching to audio.]
Do I need to bring anything? Like... a garbage bag or some cleaning stuff?

[She regrets not moving faster, not taking a rooftop-- Anything.]
They might have had a very large animal with them. A dog, perhaps a wolf. I do not know. But they left bloody pawprints in their wake.
