[ Normally when Kieran makes posts to the network, he tries to seem at least a little friendly. Not today. The video opens on a glaring stormcloud of a man -- he looks pale, sleep deprived, and ready to kill something. ]

[ Yeah, the things they wear that directly tie their souls to the gods? Those bracelets. Kieran's glare shifts slightly, as if it's directed at the jewelry on his wrist rather than the feed itself. Then he abruptly looks to the side and says something in another language -- anyone who knows him well enough will recognize that he's talking to Ash, others are free to think he's just nuts and speaking gibberish to no one.

It roughly translates to 'they should be scared, the fucking bitch is eating us.' But he looks marginally less homicidal when he turns to the video again. ]

It's not a curse on us, she's in us, using the connection to twist our souls. We proved it. If you take 'em off, it stops.

[ Loki slams down onto the nearest available surface, his calculations for the teleport off or maybe he's just too tired to give a damn. If he looked gaunt and sick in his last post following the first attack, now he looks positively wretched with his hair falling into his face and dark, ugly bruises beneath wild eyes. His breathing comes harsh and he's struggling to sit upright, but he still manages to point a finger at Kieran's bracelet. ]

Fuck that guy. I'm right here.

[ The real Slim Shady is decidedly not standing up. ]

[ Kieran promptly turns his bracelet off (fuck that guy, indeed) and gives Loki his full attention.

As if he needed more proof...

He nods to himself and steps forward to pick Loki up and set him on the bed that's still in their living room, for during the experiment. ]

[ He follows Kieran's lead with a huff, frustrated and too weak to do anything about it. ]

We didn't know. I figured it was just a relapse, from the shit she pulled last time. Patching up magic holes isn't exactly easy.

[ Part of why it's affecting him at all, let alone so strongly. His wounds weren't healed when she started rubbing salt in them. ]
