[ No. There's nothing else to say. Arthur stops and closes his eyes, brows furrowed and lips pressed into a thin, unhappy line. Breathes in deep, and misses turning off the bracelet by just a little bit. Blame his shaking hands and the empty confusion. ]

When you are found beside them with a weapon in your hand? Generally, yes. You ought to turn yourself in.

That doesn't mean anything lately. Half this stupid city's running off with weapons.

What would you have me do? Ignore the fact that there is blood on my property and I alone stood at the middle of it? I cannot turn a blind eye to a murder on my hands simply because people are "dying left and right."

So ya think going out and getting yourself killed's gonna help? Go out and find the idiot that did. That's better than dying just 'cause you think you did it.

There is no evidence to suggest someone else's involvement! I was there, on my private property, standing right in the thick of it staining my equipment.

At your hand or otherwise, huh? So you'll go and kill yourself and if it's not you you--what-- died for some stupid reason? If you're so worried about being a puppet then here's the quickest way-- go out and kill 'em yourself. Or did you not hear? That's a lot faster than just letting people turn 'emselves in. Or are you too moral to save 'em all from being puppets?
