At home I didn't- - I couldn't finish school, I had to work but I... [His voice gets a little tight as he starts to feel ashamed. Admitting that he's behind the other children of his age because its been months since he's sat in a classroom. Since he's practiced his handwriting, or looked at a map. Ever since his father passed away and his uncle took him away to work in the Gare de l'est. Face burning he wrings his hands before shaking his head]

[Hugo arrives at the library as quickly as possible, but hesitates before it, no idea who he's looking for and still very shy about the whole matter. He digs his hands into his pockets in uncertainty.]
