First ☤ Video
[The video feed flickers on but Luke seems more intent on studying the touchscreen that's popped up once he turned on the bracelet. He'll get around to addressing everyone in a sec, he's a little more interested in getting more familiar with the technology. Demigods and technology generally didn't go together for safety purposes, but if he was already dead, maybe it didn't matter.
Granted, he wasn't even sure if he was still dead at this point. This wasn't rebirth. He didn't have any recollection of anything beyond his final breath, but here he was and he was able to breathe, see, and think. And then, of course, there was the fact he could also apparently hear other people's thoughts. It was jarring to have random strains of thought that weren't his entering his brain. He had to figure out how to control his new power so that it didn't drive him to insanity. However, he had more important matters to attend to. He finally stops, focusing on directing his message to the city at large.]
Someone told me that the gods talk to us a lot. Our gods aren't exactly the most chatty, so I'm not sure if I buy it. Which one of them are we supposed to talk to if we don't belong here? [His fingers seem to be reaching forward to push some buttons on the keyboard, still experimenting.]
If I can’t get an answer for that question, then how about this: who's actually right in this war?
[There's a lot more he'd like to say, but as it is he's going to stop and just wait. Come on, Asgard. Give him options.]

Thiazi has no interest in leaving us to do what we wilt, and I've seen how she fights. Plagues, madness, dragons raining fire down. We're past concerns of right and wrong. Just need to make sure whatever we do doesn't make things worse.

But Luke was different.
He'd went from being this cool, amazing guy that Percy had idolized to a guy who'd poisoned him. Then of course he eventually made that worse. Even knowing Luke's past and that he was possessed, Percy also knew he really had wanted to tear the Olympians apart-- even if not the way it was going to happen. What it resulted in. A hero he was, and Percy accepted it and understood more about Luke then he ever thought he could, but that still didn't mean he knew how to deal with him.
So he just watches and listens. He's grown up a lot, after all, and sees more than he used to.]
[Everyone else is on the war question, so he tries rather awkwardly.]
You don't. The Gods might not want us here but they need us here. And they like to say they have no control over it.

It wasn't as though this was any easier for Luke, seeing how he'd been fairly certain in his dying breath that he was heading straight for the Underworld to await rebirth. There were a lot of things he'd said and done in his lifetime, especially during the years he knew Percy, that he wasn't entirely proud of.
Then again...he wasn't sure if he was sorry for them either. In the end, yes, he'd been a hero, but what had he really accomplished? He'd help save Olympus, but for what? What had the Olympians done for him in return?
And most importantly...had Percy kept his promise?
It was a lot to ask and think on, and it was best not to do or say all of it immediately.]
Now where have I heard that before?

[ Maybe she'll answer eventually. ]

Take that as you will. But I trust Thiazi far less than the gods.

Dude, it's uh, it's been a while.
[What do you say to a kid who's family, who wants nothing to do with you, and who got screwed over because he was associated even though he didn't want to be.]
For the record, you're better off here. The gods are all jackasses, but they're not like the halo jockeys. That's for sure.
You probably shouldn't mingle. Just stick to business. They're pretty shady. I've been here for months and I'm still not sure they even need us here. Or who we should really be fightin' for.
video.
What, you're saying I've been here before? [That's all he can pull from that.] I've got plans to do just that, but I still want to talk to them if they're actually willing.

[Loki grins and claps his hands a couple of times.]
It is true that the gods are fond of chatting. Even to those who do not come from here! They are most friendly and welcoming and in your free time you...yes...you fight the war you just have mentioned.
And one would expect from gods to be able to fight their own wars, since they are deities, divine beings, et cetera and so on. But they cannot. Alas.
We can only hope these gods are right. If not, it is your own decision to determine what is right.

If they're leaving the fate of their world to us? I'm gonna guess they're not really the ones who're right here. Anyway if they're really that talkative, why haven't they presented themselves yet?

He's got a grease smears on his clothes and checking over the arrows he's made just this week.]
Like Percy said, about the same as the gods back home. Just a little more talkative and they don't have any Demigods of their very own.
So it jumps from being almost non-existent to being elusive and cagey. Somehow that doesn't surprise me at all.
