020 - Video

[samantha_grey]

[Where others were likely wanting to show footage of the serious problem just developing in the center of the city, this footage is different. Instead of the ice, or the palace, the footage is showing the moon. It's a crescent moon, bright and beautiful between the clouds, but if anyone's been paying attention, it's been waning lately.

Samantha turns the feed back around so it's facing her and hefts her sickle in one hand with heavy gloves covering her hands. The look on her face, though, is nervous, bordering on fearful.]

Merlin... Fin-rot, Gio's gone, and I think we've got a serious problem if this is as bad as I think it's going to be. The last time we had something this bad happen, there was over a week of fighting. The moon's going to go new before then... and it's been a few months.

I need somewhere to meet up with whoever's putting me under, in case there's problems. The last thing we need is her getting loose if there's a real fight on our hands.

Henry, don't fucking start. The last time she was loose, I yanked one of my best friend's hearts out of her chest on the network. I don't want that part of me to meet people.

We'll do what we can to watch her, even if there's something going on. [Merlin looks her over quickly.] Are you all right?

... Henry. You don't really want to go this direction with me. I was covered in my friend's blood. This isn't an image I like having in my memories.

And I don't because I go out of my way to control the demonic hormones so I don't turn into a crazed bitch more often. [And she's not explaining the tea. Oh no, she has a feeling she's already said too much as is.]

[Nope, and she's already regretting it being public because of Henry, but it's too late for that.]

If I know my dates, we've got just at a week. Keep that in mind, and hopefully the attack isn't going to leave this place too frozen for too long. We might need to use an in-town location though.

[She grunted and sighed, running her hands through her hair.]

I'll be honest, I'm a little freaked out. She was more insane than usual last time. She knows we're keeping that side of me locked up, and we're getting better. I'm not sure what she'll do if she gets loose this time, especially if she knows she's only got a short time to get away.

I'll be helping the healers staying close to the ice, but I should be able to get away to help you.

[His expression edges into "wary" suddenly.]

What do you mean, more insane? Was there something different about her?

Aww, but that's what happens when you bottle up your aggressive tendencies! Look at me, I don't bottle up anything and I'm a completely happy guy. I bet you and her would feel waaay better if you ripped a few hearts out now and then~

It could even be a bonding experience!

You did see what I did to Eve, didn't you? She... stopped her from doing something to her by killing herself. [Don't make her say it. It's written all over her face.] She went completely nuts, tore her heart clean out of her chest using something we knew about her, along with a bunch of internal organs.

I think she knows she's losing, and she wants to hurt someone, badly, before we make it so she can't get loose ever again. I think she wants to scar someone for life.

... If this cold gets too close to Pinch, I'm giving you the footlocker. Put it somewhere nobody can get to it, period.

No, believe me. If that side of me was out, it would be this twenty-four seven. It doesn't know when to quit. You don't know what she's like. She's shoved some guy in a guillotine for fun.

Well, what else would you shove someone in a guillotine for? Nya ha! But yeah, I'm noooot seeing the problem here. I bet she'd calm down if you gave her a chance to work through some of those issues, one stolen organ at a time.

You know, there's the most remote chance you're right, that she'd get bored of dancing in entrails eventually, but guess what? I'm not in the mood to butcher that many people to find out.

Christ, I knew you wouldn't get this.

Hey, who doesn't love a good bloody frolic? No wonder you're grouchy! I bet she has way more fun than you.

We'll have to keep a closer eye on everything, then. She can't use the same trick as last time, and I can bring something...maybe a sleeping gas. In case she does try to get out.

[Merlin nods grimly.]

Your item I can take care of. I'll be leaving soon, but I'm still in my apartment right now. Bring it to me and I can hide it while I'm outside.

Alright. I'll meet you shortly. Remind me. Are you in Loki, Sigyn or Thor these days? That's about as much range as I want to risk with this ice starting to grow quick. We can meet halfway otherwise, and I'll get back here to make sure nothing freezes over near the hospital.

...by your standards, she might just be a bit more fun. [shudder] For most people, it's not, because they don't get to come back, and even if they do, they have to remember what happened.

[Whenever Samantha gets there, Merlin's partly kneeling on the floor, shoving the some bottles into the the last of the packs. Archimedes is nowhere to be seen, but his white dragon is curled up on his bed. She looks up and trills a warning when Samantha walks in.]
