3rd entry ~ [Voice]

Hullo, Asgard. Are we all feeling better?

[ Really, he wants to know. Seems that way, but it never hurts to ask. ]

I'm John Watson, and I run the Yakuzen Clinic in Heimdall. I've been managing almost completely by myself for a while, but I think it's about time I get some assistance. Which means I'm looking for employees. A couple of secretaries first of all, and maybe another doctor or nurse or two. So if you're looking for work and think you're up for doing any of those, give me a call and we'll set up an interview... thing.

And I guess that's it. If anyone needs anything, just ask. But I might not be able to do anything if it's not medical wise.

It might, yeah.

[He sighs and clicks over to private and video. He's is not going to have this conversation on voice. Though he won't force John to do the same.]

How much have you heard about Panem?

[ No, that's fine with him, he'll switch too. And he shrugs. ]

Uhm. Nothing.

Well, even if we prefer being here it doesn't mean the mental scars of what happened back there aren't present. Recently Gale and Peeta returned home, and that's taken it's toll on Katniss in a bad way.

But, before that let me tell you about the Hunger Games. Everyone from our world that's here currently has participated in them. It's by lottery and kids from the ages of twelve to eighteen are entered and if their name is drawn they are forced to go into an arena and fight against each other until only one person is left standing. That person is known as the Victor.

I was in the 65th Hunger Games, when I was fourteen. Annie, my wife, was in the the 70th Hunger Games. Katniss and Rue were in the 74th Hunger Games with Rue dying in the games and Katniss and Peeta coming out as the star crossed lovers and living at the end. Recently in our world was the 75th year of the Hunger Games, or what they called the quarter quell. Katniss and I were just there not that long ago.

We destroyed the arena, but there were repercussions.

[He licks his lips pausing.]

Annie and Peeta were taken to the capital and tortured for information. The district we were staying in sent people to grab them, and my friend Johanna from the capital.

As you can imagine that's only a few things that have gone on with my friends. There is a lot of sleepless nights, nightmares and anxiety. Annie my wife had to watch the boy from our district beheaded during her game, Katniss saw Rue die, and I ...

[He shakes his head and smiles, though it's bitter.]

You can understand why I would trust someone only if they could help us. I haven't tried talking to a doctor, but after Gale and Peeta just left...Katniss has been less than present here. Unlike Annie, I can't drag her back from herself.

[Taking a deep breath he smiles sheepishly.]

Jesus Christ.

[ Honestly, that's all rather... overwhelming. Or a lot. He needs to take a moment to just pinch the bridge of his nose and take a few calming breaths. Who does that to children? It's absolutely sick. ]

There ought to be something to help sleep, possibly without nightmares entirely, but I'm not so sure about... dragging someone back from themselves.

It's a lot to take in, but even if we are doing better here there are still some bumps in the road. I honestly just want to make sure and keep everyone feeling well here.

[ A bit much, yeah. But he just. Shakes his head. ]

Yeah, of course. I can't really do much about mental health, but I'll see what I can do about the sleeping.

Do you know anyone I can talk to about the mental health part of it? I mean...She's been through a lot and so have Rue and Annie.

[He had his fair share, but this isn't for him, it's for the people he cares about.]

Or if you don't that's fine. I'll keep talking to her and trying to pull her back like I do Annie.

I don't know any therapists, if there even are any, sorry. If I could do more, I would, but you'll probably do it better than I would. Not a professional, and all. At least you're their friend, I take it.

Annie is my wife, and Katniss and I were in the most recent games together again. She's the symbol of hope to a lot of people back in our world. But, yeah, I feel like being the oldest I'm responsible for everyone.

Don't worry about the therapist side of things, just getting more sleep may help.
