[The Doctor looks much himself again, though people who know him might think he looks a bit... apprehensive, perhaps. He's doing his best to hide it, though.]

Well, then! Now that that bothersome business is behind us, I thought I'd say a belated 'hello' to the new people among us.

[That was it, that was the hello.]

I'm the Doctor--one of them, anyway.

[But he has another reason for making this video, so even though it appears to end there--he's so welcoming--in reality he switches it over to a private channel directed at his 'family.']

I had a question for those who have been here longer... how does one tell if someone has... ah. Left Asgard?

Also how many of you are there, I shouldn't want to lose track.

[That means companions and Doctors, quick as you like.]

[ Guess who's grumpy? Or more like angry. A bit furious. Because Oswin is gone, gone to her death and, sure, he knows she's apparently also alive elsewhere in the world as... Clara, or whatever. But she still died, she still died, as a Dalek. And she's taken from the reprieve she had here. And she was taken from him. ]

We're not any more as far as I know. Only less.

[...well, that's a bit. Worrying. But more important things than Eleven's tone come first.]

Melanie, actually. I haven't been able to find her since we all got sick.

[A few moments of silence, then...]

...no. No, I'm afraid she isn't.

[Well, that's... something, he's honestly not sure how to feel about it. He'd liked her, obviously, but he hadn't really known her.]

That's good, though, right? She's back where she belongs now.

Yeah... Yes. Of course it is.

[ As absent as it sounds, there's also no doubt in his tone. Mel is at least alive. ]

Oswin's gone too.

[This time the silence is one of Six trying to place that name. Did he somehow miss meeting someone...? There had been a lot of them, of course, but that's kind of a big thing to miss.]

...I see. That's... unfortunate, I'm sorry.

[That's the right thing to say in these sort of situations, he's fairly sure of that.]

... exactly how many of you are there, out of curiosity? I think I asked one of the others, but I never got a completely straight answer.

[Why does no one want to speak to him face-to-face today... but hello, new voice.]

As far as I know, there are four here currently--including myself, obviously.

[She's hit and miss, what with the horns. She can never decide if she wants to or not, and Doctor innate curiosity... yeah, not yet.]

Actually, I meant total. I've met three of you, or maybe all four that are here right now.

[Yeah, that would probably derail the conversation pretty fast.]

Oh, I see! Hmm... well, my eleventh self is here, so at least that many for sure. I can't be certain beyond that, however.

[He could die. The Time Lords could grant him more lives, or something else could happen to extend his given life span.]

At a guess I'd say... thirteen. But I've never met any that far ahead in my personal time line.

[Because she can see that Eleven answered the other question. She looks better than she did the last time they spoke.]

There are eleven of us in total. Four Doctors, one TARDIS and six strays.

There's a list. It's on the bracelet somewhere. I think it updates automatically. Uh...who do you think's gone...? [ Come to think of it, he hasn't seen Oswin today. Or the other redhead. Where is everyone going no let's not do this. ]

[When it came to the Doctors, Soushi has been doing the utmost to ignore their existance; to never interact with them; to never acknowledge them. In his mind, if he interacted with the other Doctors, then it was the same as betraying the one he was actively speaking with. For him, that was the true Doctor just like he was the true Soushi Miketsukami. He was bitter over his previous incarnation of himself.

No. Not bitter. Pure hatred was a better word to describe it.

But then, the patrons accidentally brought the wrong version of his master -- the Ririchiyo Shirakiin from his previous incarnation's timeline. Even so, he felt some type of gratitude towards her, so he decided to look after her as thought she was his version and found himself slowly falling in love with her just as much as he loved the master of his timeline.

Now, what does any of that have to do with the Doctors? Well. Ririchiyo asked him to accept the other versions of the people both from their world and away from their world. So here he is, trying to give it a try. Starting with this one as, he somewhat met this version before and felt less ashamed to speak to...kinda.]

It is a pleasure to finally make your acquaintanceship... [Wow. He all ready hit his pet peeve over here.] You are the Sixth version of the Doctor, correct? [Yup....this was awkward for him, somewhat.]

Why would anyone want to be called doctor?

She's dead.

[ He really should have made this private from the start. Now it doesn't even cross his mind and he leaves it all open. It's just... so... ]

She-- I was going to take her, I was going to show her the stars, but she'd been converted to a Dalek and she fought it and she saved my life, and my friends' lives, when she could have just killed me and lived and this was all she had. How is that--?

[ He stops himself before he asks how it's fair, because it isn't and since when is anything ever fair? But damn it all. ]

Thirteen? I repeat what I said to one of your others. If we got you all in the same place, I don't think the universe could handle it.

[He's pleased she's using video, at least.]

Hello, old girl. You're looking much improved.

[No, focus. He frowns a little.]

[He'll start poking more at that contact list, to see if he can figure out who exactly is missing.]

There were. We've lost a few - starting with Dark Lady.

[AKA Martha Jones. Yeaah, she calls them all by nicknames.]

It could also seem that way after the sudden influx we had. [She knows she feels several Doctors lighter.]

Melanie. Mel Bush, and I'm fairly certain I just determined she is gone.

[No matter his personal feelings about the matter, he's going to face the facts of the situation.]

I would, for a start. Why, what's wrong with the name 'Doctor'?

[Listen, you can hear the capitol 'D' on there.]

They're complete nutters, that's what's wrong. Doing odd things like stitches and all.

[Six, for his part, has no idea of the heavy reasoning behind Soushi's decision to contact him. But he's certainly not bitter or hateful toward his other selves; that would be a bit silly, from a Time Lord perspective.

He'll stick to text, for the other person's comfort. For now.]

Likewise, I'm sure. And that's correct; however, we tend to call ourselves incarnations.

[Somehow he doesn't like the word 'version' when applied to him, perhaps because it makes him sound like he's been factory-produced.]

Hmm... while I must admit that humans do tend to have some rather odd ideas about what good medicinal practice is, stitches aren't that bad of an idea--if implemented properly, that is.

[Hi, guess who's assuming Ron isn't Human normally.]

They are rather slow to heal naturally, as a species, so it makes a certain amount of sense to need to keep the edges of a wound together. To ensure it heals properly, you see.

[He'll let that pass, mostly because he isn't sure how he's feeling now.]

Ah yes... Miss Jones. I'd rather liked her.

[Not enough to be really upset about her departure, she's headed back to wherever she came from after all. But enough to regret not being able to speak with her again.]

Hmm, yes. Well. [Tiny pause.] Did you know Peri showed up during all that?

If implemented properly? Who would want to go and sew their skin together? S'just disgusting.

[It's okay. He's a different type of human...?]

There's loads better ways than that. That's what healers are for. You only need a wand and its all better, none of this stitching business.
