[Daphne looks like she's just gotten back from a nice healthy stay at the beach -- which she has. Her skin has a lot more color to it and she looks well-rested, which is a good thing, considering the fact that an illness seems to be sweeping through Asgard.

Her sleeves are rolled up and she's in her hospital uniform, hair tied up in a loose messy bun -- and while her voice is soft and even as always, it holds some amount of firmness to it.]

Anyone who is feeling ill should come to the hospital for examination. I'm one of the healers here -- I can try to help you.

Try not to wait too long.

It looks like we all returned to a mess.

[With a quiet frown.]

Is everyone feeling alright? Because if you aren't, you should come see me.

[She is not messing around she will come find you. >:c]

I think that will be a relief to him.

Didn't know him from Adam last time I was here. I get why he felt the need to play his odds and go with the hunter role.

[So he's not too mad about that. He figures he wouldn't have believed him if he told the truth and it'd be a little too much to handle anyway. Shit hit the fan quick at home and the only way to stay level-headed was to build up momentum and run with it.]

What about you? How're you doing?

[He's concerned. He feels responsible for screwing up her life. Just like Sam said. He doesn't know how to face that and wants to know she's at least functioning okay with life on Asgard as long as she has Cas around.]

[So long as she doesn't focus on the future of her own home world and focuses instead on the present of Asgard, Daphne is actually rather happy.]

I don't know how much Castiel told you from the last time you were here, but Castiel and I live in the Freyr district, and we both work at the hospital. He drains away injury, I make sure he doesn't die.

[With a faint smile.]

We're a pretty good team.

I bet.

[Dean manages a small sympathetic smile in response to everything.]

Seemed like you were when I saw you back in real-time too.

[There's just a brief smile, in response to that.]

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

[They'll find each other again.

She has faith.]

Y'know what, I'm glad that you're shacked up with Cas. He could use a breath of fresh air like you around.

I think he stopped 'shacking up' with me when he offered to marry me, but I appreciate the sentiment.

Right.

Uh, what I meant was that you two are pretty simpatico.

[She's quiet at that before she brightens into a genuine smile, understanding.]

I would do anything for him.

[It's said quietly, but honestly.]

And I know he would do the same for me.

[That kind of response has Dean smiling. Cas needs a lot more than he and Sam looking out for him. He knows that much.]

Glad he has you around then.

I'm glad he has you around, too.

[Warmly.]

He cares a lot about you and Sam.

He's like family. Which I guess makes you like family too.

[She looks a little surprised at that before Daphne brightens instantly.]

I'd like that.

If you get a break from your busy healing schedule you and me should grab coffee sometime. We can catch up.

[It's not typical for Dean to invite people in like this but he's really trying. For Cas.]

I'm sure I can find time for coffee.

[She sounds pretty pleased by the invitation, anyway.

She'll just have to make sure Castiel is fine for the evening and then she's free.]
