Well whatta you know, death comes with an option A and an option B apparently! Weighing the options, if I had to make a choice between Asgard or isolation it's no contest...and, hey, I've heard good things about Asgard...according to Scáthach.

It's not exactly what I pictured when I was a brat, but if I could color this place with my influence then I could definitely live here! [Whether that's cause for concern or not remains to be seen.] The only down-tick to this whole ordeal would have to be the power loss...there's really no way to get 'em back, eh? Even Runes, what about those? This is Asgard and I was a master of Runic magic, you'd think that'd translate.

[He'll give a mock derisive snort.]

Guess I can live with it as long as this place is well stocked with booze....but I do have a couple of questions. It's possible to be in the House of One God while liking another without offending the God who...I guess...brought you here, right? I'm not in the mood for a shit storm, but that Loki guy, he's a real pip. [Lancer waves a hand dismissively, that was just a cast off question.] No...no...what I really want to know is this--could anyone qualify for this place, or is there some kind of selection process that they have set in motion?

[It's amazing how one's relaxed, laid-back demeanor could so quickly change into something more ominous and creepy, but Lancer pulls it off...and red eyes are pretty unsettling anyway, but it's the forced grin on his face that's the real problem.]

I'm Lancer by the way, common courtesy if I plan on pumping this place for information.

Far as I can tell, they pull in anyone. Who needs combat experience to fight a war, huh? Not these guys!

I heard some people were given their old powers back, and they exploded! Wish I'd seen it- but apparently that's what happens if we use 'em here.

I have the combat experience, that's a plus as far as I'm concerned. Bring on the battles as long as it's not boring...but there are people I'd rather not meet in this after life.

There hasn't been nearly enough carnage yet, but it's bound to kick up eventually. The other side is pretty fun to slaughter, the... one battle I've been here for, nya ha! ...But eh, that's the problem with afterlives, huh? Anyone who's dead is gonna be there!

But I wouldn't worry too much, I don't think this is the afterlife. I hope not! I don't even remember dying, and that's something I'd totally pay attention to.

That's too bad, I'd hate to get rusty. I still have some skills that need to stay sharp...and I haven't been able to stretch my muscles the way I'd like to...[a beat]...Oi...it will be a problem if that guy turns up, I'll have to end him again.

The last thing I remembered before coming here was death, but I'm Celtic, not Norse, so it's a little confusing.

I think there's an arena... and there's always someone asking for sparring partners, if you're into that non-lethal stuff. ...And you'll have to keep ending him, by the sound of it! We don't get to die here, not properly. Though the guys in charge get mad if we mow each other down, for some reason. Doesn't make much sense to me, but hey, I'm not a god.

Don't know either of those! The gods here really do bring us from all over.

Arenas huh, well I like a good exhibition as much as the next guy...and I've learned how to fight without killing. [That second part get's an irritated look from Lancer.] As if I could help it, I hate the bastard so killing him would be natural.

Sure, it's possible to fight without killing, but what's the fun in that? ...And hey, it's fine with me! What's he look like, so I can point you in the right direction if I see him?

And yup! Sometimes you come across someone you know, but most of them? Entirely different worlds!

Well I'm not some kind of wanton murderer, as long as it's a good fight letting the other person live ain't a problem. That aside I am a warrior, so I'm at my best in a life and death situation.

Kotomine looks like a priest, dark robes...he's got this look in his eye like a dead fish. He comes off all deceptively nice, but he's just fake.
