[.......Is whatever is left from ???'s attempt to type when the feed switches over to video. Apparently he forgot to put up a filter too, but that's his loss.

As for the 5 minutes of video at start up, there's a spikey-haired brunet passed out and laying against the side of a brown cow in a rather small barn. He certainly looks a little worse-for-wear with faded bruises showing on his arms, and there's dried blood caked into his hair on one side of his head. So maybe someone hasn't completely taken care of himself after Freyr was saved, but it's not something he could consciously work on while grey.

He is also very very late to the party. Which is over already.

Gasping, 'Sora' finally shoots upright, eyes wide for a second before squeezing shut as he presses his hands to his face with a low groan. Still nothing much after that, but the cow is tilting her head back toward him, choosing to comfort him by lapping at his hair with her tongue. A hand leaves his face to push her away because ew cow spittle, settling on her nose while his other hand pinches the bridge of his own.]

Shhhh, shush. Dream, it was just a bad--

[Crap, he doesn't get dreams. Something is wrong with this picture; which is why ??? cracks open his eyes again to squint/glare at the wall across from him. Catching up is a bit......slow for him right now, and it's not just that his whole body is wrong. When ??? eventually gets onto his feet, he more or less continues stumbling along with a certain lack of balance. That and he may just get sick, with how pale he suddenly looks. Coming back from being grey after getting his version of a concussion is bad, but being human makes it worse.]

Urgh, stupid humernnnugh... [Double-taking to look at his hands, he's pretty sure those aren't his gloves (although they look familiar). He also isn't stupid enough to wear big, yellow shoes.] Why am I in--?!

[That's not his voice either!

Moving to the water trough (with a little less stumbling), ??? tries to get a good glimpse at his reflection. It's really not doing him any favors with how murky it is, but he finally gets the results he's looking for....And his expression is switching to pure horror.] Why...

WHAT THE HELL?!

[lkjsaflkaj ??? will just...awkwardly wrap his arms around her waist giving directions along the way, and trying to endure the ache in his head that's coming in waves with each hop.]

[They reach where he had been directing her and she smiles as she looks back at Emmy.]

We're here! [She slides off and holds up a hand to him.] Let's go!

[??? is the least gentlemanly-like at the moment. It's a thought he briefly considers-- wasn't she the queen here? Not that he knows too much about being a gentleman, but the roles seem off in this moment. However, he doesn't think about it too long because there's a sudden pang of nausea spreading up through his throat, and he has to wave her hand away as he leaves the saddle.

It's straight to the nearest wall for him, and ??? stands there, face pale and head bowed as the feeling slowly passes.]

Sorry, I-- urgh, here. [Reaching into his pocket, he's tossing her the key to the apartment.]

[She fumbles to catch the key but she does catch it. Alice frowns and reaches to hold his elbow.]

Oh Emmy, I'm so sorry. I thought we were going slow enough.

[She went and opened the door before coming back to her knight.]

It's fine, you were driving well. I think it's just...my head being weird. [He finally forces himself to stand straight again when she returns. Even if he did get sick, he hasn't eaten yet, which his stomach deems important enough to remind him with a bellyache. Seriously, he doesn't understand human bodies as much as he'd like to.]

I'll get it checked after I take a shower, so don't worry too much. [??? take the keys back from her now, taking the lead back to the doorway, but stopping short thanks to a sudden thought.]

I can't really entertain you right now, but I can give you a book on magic you can play with instead. You have to study it very carefully if you want to use it, okay?

Ah! [She is surprised as she's suddenly handed a book. Unfortunately for Emmy, Alice had gotten quite good at Runes, understanding them as one might a puzzle or riddle and with Hermione as her teacher...]

Oh, ah... yes, I shall be sure to look at it carefully! It um... [She blushed at ??? mentioning the need for a shower.]

Feel better, Emmy. I'm sorry I don't have healing powers.

[Everyone's gotta shower/bathe sometime....Except for him normally because you don't mix computers with water.]

It's okay. Just promise me that you'll use the obscure array on it as soon as you can. And-! And, you'll only share it with people you absolutely trust. Got it?

What does the obscure array do? [She asked, as she flipped idly through the pages.]

Oh ah... well, I trust lots of people, Emmy.

It'll keep the book's text a secret unless you use a password that you pick. [But ooooohhhh, now he almost regrets handing it over.]

When I mean trust, I mean people you know very well. Ones you know who won't use the runes to hurt others or try to get back at the gods. There's some very dangerous magic in there, Alice. That's why I only give out these notebooks to people I trust.

I shall make a password no one shall ever thing to guess! [She assured him, hugging the notebook close.]

I promise I shall do my very best, Emmy. Ah but, if there's dangerous magic, should I be learning it?

If it can protect you in the future, it's better to learn it than not. That way, you'll have something powerful to help you stay safe. Does that make sense?
