Kind of an odd question, I guess, but I was wondering how many people out there have moved into the paid housing instead of staying in the rooms the gods give us. Is it worth doing if you have enough people or make enough money to move out, or would you have preferred staying put? And do you have to be from the same district you want to rent from?

[ She pauses for a moment and then laughs quietly, thumb moving up to run across her eyebrow. ] That was more than one question, wasn't it? [ Oh well. It all ties together. ] I'll probably end up with even more questions when you guys start responding, so I apologize for that in advance.

I know that you guys won't remember this, but Scott, Stiles and I had talked about getting a bigger place together back before Stiles disappeared. [ The first time, she thinks. ] I was wondering if any of you would be interested in doing that now that we have enough people to get a decent sized place. [ She pauses for a moment as she realizes, ] Assuming Stiles and Jackson have gotten jobs.

You could probably do that really easily. They have those graham cracker crusted pies, so it could be like that, you'd just have to figure out the filling.

Chocolate chip. Duh. Ooh, or maybe chocolate fudge with a marshmallow... thing. Stuffed in it. Or oozing over the top. Oh my god, or with like, hunks of caramel all gooey and warm...

[gymnast]

Maybe you should talk to your boss about making that.

[teenyoda]

Yeah, I think I'm going to have to.

[gymnast]

I think I'll be alright without getting diabetes, but thanks anyway.

Hey, you eat cookies, don't you? And you eat pie? A cookie pie would just be a big cookie with some crust, which totally doesn't have much sugar.

[gymnast]

[ She laughs quietly and shakes her head. ] If you say so, Stiles.

[teenyoda]

I do. In fact, when I get this cookie pie, I insist you have some with me. Well, you and Scott. I can't have any pie without him weaseling a piece.

[gymnast]

It'd be a lot easier to share if we all lived in the same place, you know. Then we wouldn't have to make sure our schedules matched up and we had enough time to meet up...

[teenyoda]

Not happening. I'm not sharing a roof with Jackson and I know Lydia's not going to not have him stay there. That makes it the couple's house, Allison. Not really where I belong.

[gymnast]

[ There's no way to really argue that, but she'll try anyway! ] I don't even know if Lydia and Jackson are together, Stiles, and even if they are, it's supposed to be a house for all of us from home so we can be close. [ Except, you know, Derek and his betas. ]

[teenyoda]

Nice in theory, but playing it out's a little less smooth. Jackson, Scott, and I could barely be in the same school without bad things happening. Expecting us to share a roof just won't work. I get that you're just trying to look out for Scott and Lydia, and I really, really get that, Allison. But there's no way in hell I'm going to kiss up and play nice with Jackson just so that we can all lip synch kumbaya and think get a gold star for not killing each other that day.

[gymnast]

I'm trying to look out for everyone, Stiles, not just them. [ Which is why this is so frustrating. ] And you'd get more than a gold star.

You don't have to, Allison. Look out for Scott. Look out for Lydia. I'm fine on my own.

[As long as the two people he cared about were being seen to, he could be happy. Even if one of them was doing things he didn't want to think about with someone that should be removed from the gene pool.]

I know I don't have to, but maybe I want to. [ Maybe she wants to keep an eye on everyone (ish) from home and make sure they're okay. ]

If you say so. [ She's sort of done arguing this point right now. She's tried angling it better but apparently Stiles is too stuck in his ways to see the logic in them all living together.

Maybe she'd understand better if she was single... ]

[Or maybe she'd understand better if she were single and having to live in the same house as Scott who happened to be dating (and doing OTHER THINGS) with someone else.]

Maybe I'll come over for dinner.

As long as you don't mind takeout. I don't think any of us are good enough cooks to make a meal that big.

Yeah, I can only do things like burgers and hotdogs when it gets to be that size. Unless you guys don't mind burgers and hotdogs.

[gymnast]

[ At least you've lived in a place long enough to even know someone for that long!!! ]

We'd have to get or find a grill to use, but that would be fine with me.

Have you never just stove top cooked your burgers? Spoiled much?

That sounds like it would take forever.
