[ Beep boop there is a rather happy looking blonde on the screen this time; a happy sort of look that hasn't really been seen much in the past few months. Very happy, indeed. And look, she has a friend! A tall strip of nothing, dressed in pin stripe and sporting some really great hair. ]

Found th'missing Doctor to our collection. [ She's kidding of course, don't fuss, Ten. ]

[ And the strip of nothing frowns a bit, raises a finger, takes a breath. Pauses for a moment. ]

I think technically we're missing a lot of them, Rose. Or only a few of them, at this point. I'm impressed the city hasn't exploded from paradoxes yet. I guess the gods've got to be doing something right.

[ That is worthy of praise, okay. ]

[ There's a returned look of pause there. He had a point; she'd just sort of brushed off the chance of paradoxes since she'd first arrived. It had been quickly disproven, so there wasn't much worry, was there? Still, she makes a show of pressing her lips and rolling up in a nod. ]

Well, with you, we've got .. at least right now; Two, Four.. Six, Eight, Nine, Ten- [ She gestures at him ] -and Eleven. Unless I'm missin' one. ... Your Metacrisis was here for a while. [ Oops, that sounded glum. ]

I think I saw Three-- Hang on.

[ He gives her a long look. ]

My Metacrisis? Is this one of those different... timelines... [ makes random gestures with his hands in the air, ] timey wimey things?

[ .. Whoops, that's a bit of a hand-in-cookie-jar look. But only briefly. He'd find out eventually, wouldn't he? ]

Um. Yes. 

[ Which explains everything. ]

[ After a moment's hesitant pause, he grins. ]

[ Something new to look forward to! ]

[ He flicks his fingers over his earlobes for emphasis. ]

And before the tweed and bowtie. You can call me the one with the best hair out of them all. [ And the grin is directed to Rose as he briefly raises his eyebrows. ] Just visiting, it looks like, for now.

[ And Rose, to her credit, looks .. terribly distracted. All smiles and watching him introduce himself and what not. Though she mocks a frown and gives him a prod with her elbow for the mention of ears. She happens to still be quite close with that version, of him thank you. ]

Like the rest of us. [ Which is definitely more important. ]

Uh... It wasn't that long ago. A few months? A progenation machine. It takes a sample of diploid cells and splits them into haploids and reassembles them into something else, and you get an offspring. Instead of waiting for it to come the natural way. Efficient for building an army, which is what they were doing.
