I don't get how so many people can be here and still be willing to fight for them. Not only that, some are even happy about it. I bet half of them have never even held a weapon before, never had to kill anything let alone another person.

[He gets the feeling this man would fight. But why? The complaints he voiced before were not the only ones he has. His voice has calmed, but it still reeks of bitterness and that underlying anger than never seems to go away.]

They've offered no proof anything is wrong with other worlds, some of us are from ones where our existence is already threatened by other means. Instead of being there and fixing things we're dumped here with nothing but weak, useless powers and told we're here to play soldiers. They don't care about a single person they've brought in to play their little war game and if you talk to one of them about it they tell you to shut up and deal with it [Yeah, still haven't forgotten that, Hel.]

Why fight for people like that? If you can even call scum like them, people.

Some of us have people here that we care for, that we love. Some of us couldn't care less about what the gods think of us or ask of us. Some of us want to protect each other. We fight for us, and the natives of this city, not them. Because until we figure out a way to send back those who want to go back, that is what we can do. Now are you quite done saying that we're doing everything wrong without actually giving any hints as to what we should do instead?
