[This is another network post from the worst video personality imaginable. Kieran is on one of the fields at the arena, and there's several bags and a large pile of … something..? behind him. It could be easels or barricades or anything like that. He glances off camera for a moment, then speaks, and anyone who knows him will recognize that he's doing his 'I'm totally not scary' thing.]

We just got a big wake up call about powers not working outside the city. Not everyone can do hand to hand or blades but everyone should be able to fight.

I'm giving shooting lessons at the arena. One on one or small groups for now. You pay for your ammo, unless you want to practice resisting body control. Then it's on me.

[He says this as if it's a favor to you rather than the other way around, that he's a body controller looking for people to practice on. Kieran glances offscreen again, and the feed cuts out.

At least he doesn't waste words.]

Patience and a bit of skill, and you'll manage it. One way or another, this is exactly the sort of work that needs doing around here. Colors are one thing. Battle readiness is as important, especially for those without combatant powers.

[kieran is quiet for a moment; no one besides ash ever roots for him. he's never gotten any other encouragement in his life. granted, he never had good intentions, but that makes having them now and getting approval is even more foreign a concept.

I heard the citadel's had archery lessons before, you could ask there. And there's a little girl who asked me if I meant archery. Depending on how you feel about that.

[personally, kieran is fine with teaching kids, though he'd probably tell them to hide rather than fight if possible.]
