[Hello, Asgard. Look who is finally making his first post to the network? Jack is sitting on a roof and enjoying a blue popsicle. It seems their little trip to the cold lands wasn't enough ice for him.]

Can't help you there; I come from .. a bit more of a modern time. One of the travelers might not be able to help you, but there should be someone in the city. There are all sorts of shops, if you explore.

I also come from a modern time, what does that have to do with it? It's not like regular carving is something kids are taught in Saturday morning cartoons either. As for exploring - I already know my way around. [His turn to shrug. Asking was easier, ok.]

I'm a little bit older than a kid. ( she's amused, though. no, she wasn't taught carving through cartoons or summer camp - more like soviet assassin training camp, but that's neither here nor there. )

If you really want it restored to you, or reinforced.. the only other option I can think of is asking one of the gods. But I'd caution against that. They tend to have a price.

That you know of. Most people would invent thousands of excuses, like tricks of the light, before admitting there's something else out there. [He gives her a look.] And you don't exactly sound like a believer.

( i mean given that SHIELD was pretty on top of things (and that stark was obsessed with things like that) she would think that if there was magic, she would know it. )

I don't need to invent excuses if something is right in front of me. There is no magic. I don't need to delude myself with childlike beliefs that I know to be false.
