[Hello, Asgard. Look who is finally making his first post to the network? Jack is sitting on a roof and enjoying a blue popsicle. It seems their little trip to the cold lands wasn't enough ice for him.]

Moral of the story: 'frost giants' aren't as cool as they sound.

[...it's a joke, ok, don't judge him ~~much~~. He needs to deal somehow with the fact the trip pretty much sucked. Jokes are also his way of trying to break the ice ~~see what I did~~. Answering to people's silly thoughts? No problem. Starting conversation by his own? That's gonna need more practice.]

Someone mentioned weapons when I arrived, and how I should I ask the network about it. Maybe you do have an idea of what to do about--

[He uses telekinesis to make the two halves of a shepherd crook float next to him.]

Weapons?

[He didn't hear anyone talking about weapons-- but he'd be interested. Not that he's sure he'd be any good at using them. Not without a little practice.]

[Those are some powerful observation powers, Naruto. Jack stares at the boy, then decides this is a good time as any to mess with people.]

No, I decided I didn't want it anymore so now I'm making staffs for dwarves.

I didn't break it, it got broken in the fight. Giants aren't exactly known for hiding their strength.

This "stick"- [He points at the floating pieces with the popsicle.] -has kicked more butt than you think, blondie. Not my fault the higher-ups stripped it from its powers.

He's pretty sensitive about it all himself actually. Knows what it's like to be powerless.]

Ah--- That sticks got your power in it?

[He heard the conversation above, and since he's just in that kind of mood lately, he can't help being snide about it.]

Maybe you should've been more careful with the source of your power. The gods here pull a lot of shit, but they didn't make you get sloppy.

[Naruto's change of attitude is noticed by Jack, and he tries to deal with the frustration a little better.]

Not got it, exactly, it just was... a way to channeling it. I said bye bye to my powers, now it looks like it's time for my staff to do the same. [He goes back to his popsicle, hiding a bit of sulking with it.]

[He's like that-- highly strung perhaps, but he really hasn't come to terms with being here either, despite whatever he says to Sasuke.]

[Oh just what he needs, someone to snarl at. Let the frustration flow!]

It's not the source of my power. Do you know what a weapon is or should I draw a diagram? And if getting my weapon broken instead of my, I don't know, bones is getting sloppy, then sure, that's what I am.

[Sadly Jack can get that, considering the grumpy rabbit he's friends with. Don't try to make him admit it though.]

Yeah, yeah, that's a nice warning and all, but if another house already has my old powers, I don't get why I just wasn't sent there then.

Okay, if it heals itself, then you really need to stop bitching. I know about needing a conduit for an ability to work, thanks, but I wouldn't whine to the network if my lighter ran out of fuel - I'd fill it.

And you got that wrong. I was brought to another world, changed into something I'm not and stripped of my powers, then given a shitty consolation prize. Sounds like that might be a familiar story to you.

It can't do it by itself anymore - stripped powers, remember? That's why I'm asking for alternatives, genius. Magic isn't something this place is lacking, in case you haven't noticed.

[Yes, he understands a little too well. Especially the "something I'm not" part. Jack stares at a new scar on his hand, letting the popsicle drip. He doesn't want to admit this snide teenager that he's right. Maybe a change of subject that isn't too obvious, like- wait. Did he say...?]

Yeah, but personal powers are lacking right now. So you've got no damn use for it here anyway, all you have to do is save the pieces and it'll fix itself when things get put right.

[He's such a hypocrite; he'd lose his fucking mind if his zippo was damaged, and twitches like a drug addict if he doesn't have it on him or nearby. But this guy doesn't need to know that.

Or maybe I get lucky and a weapon forger can put it back together. There's people with plant powers, the rune thingies... Better trying than just waiting.

[Jack wants to snarl more and say what a big problem is going to be. But now he's looking at his scar again, thinking while going back to his popsicle. Something I'm not...]

I wanna say yes, but know what? I don't even know anymore. Now I bleed instead of melting. Do you have a messed-up body temperature or the gods also took care of that?

[And that's pretty much Pyro's personal philosophy, so he can't even find a way to snark back. He just ignores the first statement.]

Never ran any hotter than anyone else. My friend's a Cryokinetic like you, though, and he was a lot colder before he got here.

He shakes his popsicle to say 'no'.] I'm not exactly a cryokiwhatever, and my temperature- wait. Are you... are you talking about Bobby?

[He doesn't really want to talk about it - he knows a few larger than life animals himself...]

Oh? Really? So - you make ice or something? What does Loki do?

What? No. Well, yeah but - I can use all kinds of jutsu and stuff. Well, you know, back home?
