[Hello, Asgard. Look who is finally making his first post to the network? Jack is sitting on a roof and enjoying a blue popsicle. It seems their little trip to the cold lands wasn't enough ice for him.]

Moral of the story: 'frost giants' aren't as cool as they sound.

[...it's a joke, ok, don't judge him ~~much~~. He needs to deal somehow with the fact the trip pretty much sucked. Jokes are also his way of trying to break the ice ~~see what I did~~. Answering to people's silly thoughts? No problem. Starting conversation by his own? That's gonna need more practice.]

Someone mentioned weapons when I arrived, and how I should I ask the network about it. Maybe you do have an idea of what to do about--

[He uses telekinesis to make the two halves of a shepherd crook float next to him.]

--this. Because without my original powers, my staff is now just... a piece of wood, I guess.

[Brilliant deduction, Jack. All these changes are sure bothering you, huh?]

Gotcha, just wait for me.

[He doesn't take long, he already knows his way around. Asgard is nothing compared to... well, the whole world.

He approaches Alice from behind, presenting a pink popsicle for her.] Hope you like strawberry flavor.

JACK! [He gets a hug! And then she blinks at the pink popsicle, having never seen it. But then, she only just recently discovered there were other flavors to ice cream than vanilla. She leaned in.] What is it?

[That hug takes him by surprise, and a short moment passes until he returns it. Gosh, Alice, he's going to die of affection with you around.]

Never had one? It is like.... ice-cream, but made of ice instead of cream. think of flavored frost. [He puts it on her hand.]

[She's quite the cuddlier to her friends. Alice took the ice-pop and licked it tentatively before her eyes widened.]

This is splendid! Did you bring one for yourself too? Then we can share them!

Glad you like it. [He totally means that - if you like popsicles, you win points in Jack's book.

A nod while he sits next to her] I have lots of them, don't worry. Now... can I see that snowflake?

[Licking the Popsicle to ensure it wouldn't melt, she held up the glass snowflake dangling from a ribbon.]

See!

[Jack leaves his own popsicle floating next to him and tilts his head forward.]

Think you can put it on my neck?

[She looks at the ribbon and then, with some trouble as to not get popicle in Jack's hair, she ties it around his neck. And, in a spur of the moment decision, she kisses his cheek, giggling.]

Merry Unbirthday, Jack! [She exclaims once it's securely fastened around his neck.]

[He jumps a bit when he gets kissed, but he recovers quickly. Alice is touching all the soft spots in his little ice-cubed heart. FEELINGS EVERYWHERE.]

Thank you, Alice. [Look at this smile. Look at these eyes, showing a torrent of emotions.] It means a lot to me.

[She giggled as she took a small bite of her Popsicle. Her smile is sincere, showing nothing but love for the winter spirit. Since he was still close she gently bops his nose.]

Well, friends give each other gifts, especially on unbirthdays. So now you've no choice, Jack. We're good friends.

Are we now? [Sorry, Alice. He's genuinely touched and he appreciates it, but his mind is broken. Too much to take in such a short amount of time!]

I'll try to keep a popsicle box with your name at hand, then.

Of course. [She nods with assurance.]

And I'll draw you snowflakes whenever you want. And we could play games! Are you very good at hide and seek, Jack?

I'm great at hide and seek. I'm great at all the games. [But now his mind in somewhere else.] You know, more snowflakes don't sound bad at all.

Maybe I can draw all sorts of snow flakes and we can make it winter in summer!

Perfect plan, when do we start? [He's not joking this time.]

[She put a finger to her lips in thought.] Well! I could make all sorts of paper snowflakes, I won't even need any powers for that, just some scissors! And then we could let them float on the wind!

Or... hmm... [More thought.] Maybe we should make them out of ice? But how would we get them not to melt long enough to get them all over the city?

Paper is fine, don't worry. [He's so flattered and smiling like an idiot.]

Maybe we can let them loose in my room too. [He doesn't use it much but he'd like the decoration.]

[She smiled.]

We can decorate your whole room! I can make all sorts of snow flakes in different shapes and designs! Maybe we should make them together!

I'd love that. I miss the Antarctica, you know? Maybe you can make me feel a little more at home. [He nods.] Sure, I can help.

Oh, I've never been there, it's so cold! [She smiled.] Ah, but I would love to play in the snow. I've pretty mittens that are blue with white fluffy trim. I got them from my... [From her sister.... whom she hadn't seen in months.] I got them from my sister. [She said, though not as excitedly. She pulled at her fingers.] But don't worry, Jack! We'll make it like home again for you. I can even make a mobile!

Of course it's cold, remember who you are talking to? [He pokes her nose. Nipping isn't something he does, but this is a good alternative.]

Your sister has great taste. As soon as winter arrives, I'm showing you all the snow games. [That's alright, Alice, Jack understands how awkward it can be to talk about sisters.] You can make whatever you want, kiddo, I promise it'll find its way into my room.

I hope it's a snowy winter and not just an icky rainy one.

But it has to be a nice gift, it can't just be anything! You give friends special things.

From what I heard, they had snow last time, soooo we just need to wait.

[He shakes his head, amused.] A special gift is special because it comes from a special friend. Got it?

Oh dear, I'm not very good at being patient. [She sighs as she takes a bite of her Popsicle... to find that's a very bad idea because it's very cold. She puts a hand to her head hissing softly.

Brain freeze.]

[Jack laughs and ruffles her hair.]
