[Hello, Asgard. Look who is finally making his first post to the network? Jack is sitting on a roof and enjoying a blue popsicle. It seems their little trip to the cold lands wasn't enough ice for him.]
Moral of the story: 'frost giants' aren't as cool as they sound.
[...it's a joke, ok, don't judge himmuch. He needs to deal somehow with the fact the trip pretty much sucked. Jokes are also his way of trying to break the ice see what I did. Answering to people's silly thoughts? No problem. Starting conversation by his own? That's gonna need more practice.]
Someone mentioned weapons when I arrived, and how I should I ask the network about it. Maybe you do have an idea of what to do about--
[He uses telekinesis to make the two halves of a shepherd crook float next to him.]
--this. Because without my original powers, my staff is now just... a piece of wood, I guess.
[Brilliant deduction, Jack. All these changes are sure bothering you, huh?]

It's complicated. [He smirks, though, not letting on just how complicated it really is. Just lets it sound like a joke. Then, to punctuate his point:] Bobby knew his place.
Yeah, I'm a mutant. And I'm in Baldr, so at least I made out better than he did. What are you?
[It's got none of the xenophobic edge that the statement might have from a human - it's delivered with the same cadence and tone that someone might use to ask 'what's your name?']
I'll have to talk to him about his choice of friends later. This is breaking some element law somewhere, I just know it.
[He's also (mostly) joking. Breaking rules is okay in his book, fire being near him no so much. At Pyro's question, Jack leaves the popsicle floating nearby to stand up and give a very exaggerated bow. Even that action is touched with sarcasm, if that's even possible.]
Jack Frost, Spirit of Winter, not really at your orders. [Funny thing, he used to be human. But who needs to know that part? Not even him thinks about that.]
When Jack introduces himself, there's a moment of disbelief, but then Pyro just shrugs. Not the weirdest thing he's met here.]
Guess we'll be seeing Mother Nature next. And if Lucifer's been here, not long before we should be expecting Jesus. [There's no dubious tone to his voice, though - he really does believe you, Jack. He's just over all this weirdness.]
You obviously don't know Mother Nature if you want her here. Dunno about Jesus, but I wouldn't mind Santa showing up - we could send coal to the gods and everything.
[Jack can tell Pyro is being sarcastic, but he can't help it. It's time to play with some childhoods.]
Pretty sure those are both statements that need explaining. What's Mother Nature's damage, and you actually know Santa?
[Smirking, but still not doubting.]
[Can you hear the eye-rolling in his words? Because that's totally a thing and he's doing it right now. Deities suck everywhere.]
I know Santa and the Tooth Fairy, and the Sandman, and you don't want me to get started on the Easter Bunny. Now if you want damage, there's this time I pissed Nessie off for freezing her lake... [He can be here all day naming childhood myths, better take a seat.]
And again, I need to know. What's with the Easter Bunny?
[Though now he'll try to rant, Jack can't help feeling nostalgic. He won't say it out loud but he does miss the other Guardians.]
Imagine a rabbit taller than a kangaroo and grumpier than old men complaining about kids in their lawn. If that doesn't scream "prank me", I don't know what does.
And then Jack mentions pranks and it's like they had a magical mind meld. Maybe they can get along after all.]
Why aim so low? If it's the higher-ups who need it most of all.
First a snort.] How do you think I discovered Mother Nature doesn't want to be disturbed? [And now a shrug.] I've done as much as I can, but their powers are above mine. If you have any ideas, I'm listening.

Don't flatter yourself. It's a public network.

He's just - taking it out on others. So yeah, a jerk.]
And that was a public joke. With my name and face attached. Still better than you.
[The question is, can Bobby recognize this mood for what it is?]
[ Video | Private ]
What's going on?
[ Video | Private ]
[His jaw sets irritably.]
And don't try to come over, I moved.

He moved? ]
Where?

[There's a distinct challenge in his gaze. He didn't do this just to spite Bobby - barely thought of him, in fact, when he made the choice - but Bobby's reaction will say a lot.]

I see.

We need to talk about the company you keep, Juliet. This is betrayal.

Believe me, I wonder myself sometimes.

I kinda get the feeling. At least tell me you froze something of his.
