[ hello asgard! jo looks like she's just had a very rough night. and by rough, we mean something along the lines of being sleep for nearly two weeks straight. no updated memories, no new outlook on life. just sleep. and some kind of bedhead.

she rubs at her face in that way people do when they overslept, and therefore feel exhausted, and she gives the feed a very sleepy look. ]

What day is it? [ she means that as a joke, but the moment someone actually answers her, she might start freaking out a little more. ] I feel like freaking sleeping beauty over here, except without the castle or the dragon or the- yeah. [ she yawns a little, then shakes her head. ] Was there another sleeping curse?

[ but then she shakes her head, trying to get her thoughts in order. right! she made this network post for a reason! ]

Weird part isn't even that, but- [ a frown. ] The house is a little empty. Anyone want to tell me what's going on?

[ there's a pause before a thought strikes her, and she's suddenly moving very quickly, the 'turning off her feed' bit of her bracelet coming a few moments later. ]

Ash I swear to god if you did anything to my bar-

[ and there it goes. ]

I think so. [ she rubs at her forehead a little, currently dealing with an over-slept headache. ] I just feel a little out of whack. Any idea what's going on?

[It's shocking how much a familiar face calms him, after the emotional roller coaster this whole month has been.]

They've been sent out to retrieve Freyr's soul. Are you in the house right now?

[ That's the sound of relief right there. She gives him a little smile, before it drops into something more confused. ]

Freyr's what? I uh- no. I left to go check on the bar. Meet me there?

[A moment of hesitation.]

I'm not... [He rubs at his cheek, looking uncomfortable.] I don't live there anymore. The house.

[He'd been sort of waiting for this, sort of dreading it. But Isaac figures, that in the month it had been since they've spoken last, he's gone over every possible thing she could say. He's more or less ready for whatever she can throw at him.]

[ oh ouch. She tenses a little, but then calms down. She kind of deserves that. ]

You're awake. [ Scott looks relieved. ] Allison's been really worried about you. How are you feeling?

Yeah. [ She sighs a little, rubs at the bridge of her nose. ] I'm feeling... well, honestly, kind of like crap. I don't know what happened, but it seems like I've been out for a while?

[ Scott, help. Jo has no idea what's going on. ]

Yeah, you've been out at least a couple of weeks. [ So says Allison who's been monitoring Jo. ]

Just so you know, people went on this mission for the gods recently. [ He figures she'll probably know people who would be likely be involved with that. ]

[ Well, she feels a little violated. Thanks, Asgard. ] Weeks. Great.

[ And whoa Scott that's actually exactly what she wants to know about. ]

It's day 282, the bar's fine, and I'm sort of near it. Are you okay?

[ wow Jo's glad to see you, Allsion. Have a relieved smile. ]

Been better, just trying to figure things out. Day- wait. What day did you say it was?

[ She offers one in return, though it turns a little sympathetic at Jo's response. ]

282. You've been asleep for a long time.

[Hey Jo, long time no see. Jamie's only just returned himself, although not because he's just spent the past couple of weeks unconscious. But what happened for him isn't something he particularly wants to dwell over, and seeing her makes for a welcome enough distraction.

He can't answer what day it is because he doesn't know himself, isn't aware where half the city seems to have gotten off to, and thinks better about making a crack about her hair...well, at least right this second. So what she gets instead is a slightly confused look, because...yeah.]

[ aw, jamie, you're sweet not to mention her hair. so sweet that she might not ask him what he's been up to. maybe. but there is something a little more important at stake here. ]

[Not exactly something he's completely familiar with, given when he grew up, and his general lack of, well, being able to read at the time. He has had some rather odd experiences involving that sort of thing since, though.]
