[ People in Hel may have noticed a room without a door... well, there is a door, but it's where it shouldn't be: on the floor. That would be Derek's fault. Yes, Derek's.

...Okay, maybe 10% Derek's fault, 90% Scott's. ]

Uh... does anyone know how to fix doors? I kinda - maybe - accidentally made someone kick my friend's door down... [ there's nothing accidental about what happened ] ... and now I need to put it back as soon as possible.

[ There's also a noticeable dent in it, but maybe Scott can cover it up with a poster or something. Make it look pretty. ]

Whoever fixes it... gets a puppy from my pet store! [ That sounds reasonable to Scott. ] But only if you take good care of it. [ Because a puppy is not just for Christmas, it's for... however long you stay in Asgard. ]

By the way, if anyone's looking for a job, let me know. I could do with more help at my store. [ His staff keeps getting sent home. ]

We might have the tools around, actually. My boyfriend works at the hardware store not far from the Welcome Hall.

And yes, I'm Sophie. You must be Scott.

He does? Who's your boyfriend?

I must be. [ Scott laughs a little, wondering what Isaac has told her about him. ] It's nice to meet you.

His name is Connor. He's the only Traveler that works there, you'd notice him.

[she smiles a little. scott knocking down isaac's door because he disappeared tells her much more than isaac has]

And you as well. Don't worry, I haven't heard your life story or anything equally informative. You do look familiar, though.

I'm talking to this kid who might fix the door but I should probably get some hardware stuff anyway in case I break something again... Maybe I'll ask Connor for tools advice. [ Then one day he can impress Allison by fixing something. ]

I've seen you around but I didn't know you were friends with Isaac... I'm glad he's making friends here. He's kind of a loner back home. [ Not that Scott has a long list of friends. It's always just been him and Stiles. The only thing is now Isaac has friends, he doesn't seem to know what to do with them. ]

I told Isaac I'd come by with some tools for you. Once the door is back on I'm sure Connor will help you stock up on the necessities.

Ah, you run the pet store, don't you? We bought a cat from Xander when he was here. That's it.

[her expression goes just a little wry]

So am I. Used to being alone, that is. He didn't get much choice on the friend front initially.

[yep that sure is an insinuation that she bullied isaac into being her friend. apparently it worked though, since scott can see their conversation]

In any case, I'll be around shortly with those tools.

[ Scott looks a little sad at the mention of Xander because he misses him. ] Xander got sent home unfortunately... he was really great at the store. How's the cat?

Isaac didn't get much of a choice at being my friend either. [ He laughs a little. ]

Thanks for your help. It's really kind of you. [ He can tell she's a valuable person for Isaac to have in his life. ]

I know. Connor is from the same world. People seem to come and go from there quite a bit. She's lovely though, the cat. At this rate she'll be my size when she's grown.

[which is what they get for buying a maine coon]

It seems to be the easiest way to keep his acquaintance.

Really, it's not any trouble. I've been meaning to check on him anyway.

[she has some idea of how badly he was hurt, having been there]

[ The mention of checking up on Isaac reminds Scott just how injured Isaac was, a frown forming on his face. ] He came back from that mission pretty worse for wear... I mean, it's good that he helped. [ It was the right thing to do and that's all Scott has ever wanted Isaac to do, the right thing. ] I just don't want him to get hurt.

Officially, Inaia. But mostly we call her Innie, and Connor occasionally calls her Fluffybutt, which is certainly apt.

[her smile fades at the mention of isaac's injuries, though]

I don't think anyone wanted that, even if it is the nature of battle. Isaac and I were on different teams; I was one of the three who went into the castle, so I didn't see him again until we were on the road back to Asgard. There were a great many injuries, the healers were stretched thin.

[ Scott lets out a laugh at "Fluffybutt". ] I've never heard that name before. It's nice...

[ He ducks his head with a guilty look. ] I should have been there. Maybe he wouldn't have got hurt so bad if I went... [ Probably because Scott would have taken most of the injuries. Hell, Scott probably would have died considering the nature of his power and how weak it is. ]

[she shakes her head]

What power do you have here, Scott? Can you fight without your abilities from home? Because Isaac couldn't at first. I've been teaching him that too.

He'd probably have spent the battle worrying about protecting you.
