So, Alice mentioned that I should probably look at getting some shoes? I never really needed them back home, but she said it would be a good idea here for when it gets colder or something. I'm not sure what else I might need when it gets colder, but if someone could point me to where I can get some shoes or boots that'd be great. [She doesn't really think they seem all that comfortable, but still. If it stops Alice and Eugene worrying about her, she can at least try.]

As for the spy, well, I'm glad he wasn't executed at least. But even so, he's stuck in that same place now. I...I know what it's like to be...well, trapped somewhere. I wouldn't want to wish that on anyone else. But I do understand, he is more useful to us alive, and it's better than killing him. I'm sure we could gain some information, maybe figure out if there are other spies here, have him give us names?

[She still seems uncomfortable about this, however. It's taking a while, getting used to the idea that she would need to make those decisions a lot more, or at least contribute to them once she returns home and claims her crown and title as the princess of Corona. At this stage though, she isn't entirely sure she is ready for any of that. She shakes her head, trying to put on a more reassuring smile for the network.]

I see we have some new faces though, that might not know about any of that yet. I'm Rapunzel for those who are new here. Oh yes, I guess some of you might have already talked to him or met him, but Eugene is here! Isn't that great? Oh, but I don't mean it's great he has to be involved in this war and everything. I'm just...I'm glad he's here.

I guess there's nothing we can do beyond waiting and seeing what happens when the time comes, really.

[ She nods. ] Unfortunately. Sitting and waiting can get really frustrating, though.

Waiting I'm used to, at least.

[ Her brow furrows slightly. ] What do you mean?

I was watching the fl--the lanterns rise in the sky each year until I turned eighteen before I finally went to see them in person. So, I guess I'm used to waiting.

Oh. [ Allison figures it's an age requirement thing, not a trapped in a tower her entire life kind of thing. ] Did they live up to your expectations, at least?

Oh, yes! They were amazing to see in person, not just from my window. I mean, I was a little scared if they would live up to it, but they did. And after that I had a new dream.

That's good. It would suck if you'd been disappointed by them.

Yeah. I was scared they might not live up to everything I'd imagined they would be, but they did. I'd hope nobody is disappointed once they reach their dreams.

I think it's inevitable sometimes, but I agree; I hope it's a rarity.
