[ The image on the feed is simple: our resident spy, strung up nice and comfortable in a fairly simplistic cell. There's enough space to move around, a small pallet with clean (!) sheets, and really, by prisoner-of-war standards, it's not half bad. Some measure of humane for Asgard's newest pet.

The camera switches around to Odin sitting with a glass of his default mysterious golden liquor, crisp black suit and incredibly put-upon bored expression. ]

As promised. Safe, secured, alive. I have time for one question per, no exceptions. You ask, I reiterate, I film his answer. Even you shouldn't be able to fuck this up.

[ But his expression says he fully expects it to happen anyway. He takes a drink, sets it down, and folds his hands patiently (?) in his lap. ]

[ OOC notes: As it says, one question per Traveller please! [ It's a few minutes before he answers, and he looks particularly grumpy when he does. ]

There are. Dozens and dozens- but I have no idea who they are for this exact reason.

[ There's a snort off camera, and the feed cuts momentarily. When it comes back, the spy isn't wounded, but he sure looks grumpier. Odin speaks off camera again. ]

Remember what we talked about. Honesty. Don't boast false numbers.

[Merlin bites his tongue before he can ask another question. He doesn't doubt that Odin will find some way to reinforce the "one question each" rule.]

Oh brilliant. [He sighs.] So there's no way we can find all of them.

[ And this is after Odin's comment above- the spy scowls a little. ]

I have no idea how many others there are. If there are even others.

If that's all you know, I suppose there isn't much reason to ask if you know anything else.

[There are a lot of questions Sam could ask. And his mind is racing with them, because he knows Odin will make sure to cut everyone and anyone off after one question and one question alone.

He doesn't have time for a discussion. And he knows that 99.9% of his questions will be asked by the rest of the population. Except one.]

[ He fixes him with a flat look, expression blank. Silent for a moment, before his eyes cut off camera- towards Odin, likely, if the way he sighs in resignation is any indication. ]

[ His mouth opens. Shuts. Opens again, and he shoots Odin an incredulous look. ]

These are your saviors?

[ Guess who's just scratching his brow. ]

[ Also finishing his drink. ]

-yeah, that was kind of dumb of you. How did you think we wouldn't notice?

[A pause, and he shakes his head. Isaac's never been the best guy at strategy, though, so he's gonna ask the obvious question.]

Nah, that's not my question. I just want to know why you were here in the first place. Like, what you were after.

[Has that been answered already? Oh well- he's not that great at paying attention.]

So, uh- what is it? Everyone's been super tight-lipped about how you torture people here!

[She's not too bothered by the attitudes of Odin or this individual, because -- well, everyone has been kind of rude to her lately, so she's learning how to shrug it off.

A lot better than how they were going to treat you, judging from the opinions of several of the gods the last time you were discussed. It doesn't look like you've been tortured or fed to werewolves, but I thought I would ask, seeing as most of the people here are probably going to interrogate you on why you're here to destroy civilization as we know it. Or threaten to torture you and feed you to werewolves.

[She pauses.]

If it's any consolation, the city will probably vote to keep you alive, but imprisoned. You won't be executed for doing your job.

( natasha's addressing odin now, ignoring the prisoner. as far as she (and he's wink wink nudge nudge) concerned, they've 'never met'. )

[ The video cuts. The spy looks super sour when it comes back on a few minutes later. ]

[ It's a few minutes before the feed flickers back on, video pointed at the spy's grumpy expression. ]

Information. The city is locked tight. We have no idea what you're doing on the inside here.

[Hösvi of Utgard. Truly a nobody, then, as the name doesn't ring any immediate bells in Sam's head. Just another opportunistic douchebag.

Still, he has to give Odin credit in that he's not dead and he's even coherent. That's more than Sam expected.]

Sam Winchester. Kansas. Earth. But here, I guess 'of Asgard underneath the House of Odin' would be more appropriate.

[ For the same reasons she won't be able to discern a location from the feed's architecture either. The Allfather keeps things tightly under wraps, even when it comes to where or how he just refilled the glass he's picking up and drinking from. ]
