[The feed starts out with ??? giving a rather clumsy looking smile to the--

Haha, who are we kidding. ??? would never make a video with his face included on purpose.

Nope, it's actually a view of the sunrise from what seems to be on top of a building. Only ???'s hand is visible with glowing runes on the back: the source of the light that's gathered at his fingertips which he's writing in the air with. The bright letters remain in the air once he's done.]

Hey.

I need a volunteer to test out some runes for me.

It might be dangerous, but I'm sure it won't do much.

I'll pay you and teach you some more if you want to learn.

Also the same goes for someone to teach me how to use a bow.

I'll be updating the runes book at the magic guild.

There's some you'll have to come to me to learn.

[A pause before he keeps writing:]

Which do you like better: sunsets or sunrises?

[And true to his word, ??? will be arriving at the abandoned and boarded up house in Hel that he sent directions to. As much as it appears to grey, it's a lot less sickly looking compared it its surroundings. ???'s spent a lot of time in it.]

[To Lavi, who was trained from age six to look for such things, it sticks out like a sore thumb. But seeing no one waiting when he first spots it he wanders around the building in a large circle, slowly getting smaller. On his third go around he spies someone standing out front and makes his way over, hands in his pockets.]

Hey there, Mr. Manager.

Hey. [Gawd, Lavi, you make him feel short.

He's pulling out a key from his pocket, not making time for small talk before getting the door open. As soon as he gets it near the lock and activates the array mentally, the key shines brightly, and there's an audible 'click' before he pushes it open with his foot. Not going in just yet.]

It's Access outside of work, by the way. [The view of inside from the doorway is a hallway just in front with two rooms coming off from the side and a staircase leading up. Dusty and run-down, the walls are punctured in places, and the floor is severely scratched up. ???'s not budging because he's squinting at the inside of the doorway. There's writing there, but small enough to not be noticeable at first.]

Ugh, going to have to repaint this. Deactivate. [The writing glows briefly as well, just as the key had, and ??? finally walks in.]

Upstairs is the bathroom, but I haven't tested if the water's working up there. The sink in the kitchen works, though.

[He just drinks his milk?] Sorry if I kept you waiting, yeah?

[He might have gotten distracted by shiny things. Of course all these new shiny things that ??? is introducing by the wayside are distracting too. Already he's wondering what's making the key shine, the walls too.]

Easier mouthful than Mr. Manager at least. [Grinning, though it betrays his curiosity and obvious watching. He does take a look around the place once they go in.]

Looks like it needs more than just a repaint, a spring cleaning wouldn't go amiss. [Picking at a dent to see how far it goes.]

'm fine with the kitchen sink, probably won't have a faucet in the way.

[When he steps inside, the side rooms are open to view...and they're worse off than the hallways. On the left, there's more purposeful holes in the walls, like someone was trying to dig and rip it apart. There's furniture too, or at least what's left of toppled bookcase, several chairs, and a couch. There's speckles of old, dried blood staining the ground and walls around the room, but it's more a noticeable spot in the opposite room where it must have pooled on the ground. It's empty compared to the last room, but there's writing all over the walls, both in binary code and runic symbols. This would be where ??? would normally study, and he looks perfectly comfortable moving through the house.]

I don't plan on actually living here. I just use it as a quiet space.

[???'s moving on past the staircase where a doorway lays behind it to enter the kitchen. The kitchen is mostly just dusty, but untouched compared to the rest of the house. Oddly enough, there's bits of hay pieces on the floor...and it smells suspiciously like a cow had been living there. The backdoor leading out to the backyard is now boarded up, but the wood is new compared to what's covering the windows around the house.

The sink is big though, thankfully, and ??? begins pulling out a vile, a paintbrush, and a piece of paper from his hoodie's pocket.]

Alright, which one are you up to first?

[Wha--

Do you have Fight Club in here, ??? ? Should Lavi be concerned for his safety?!

He's scratching at his cheek, staring at the place.]

Wouldn't it...be a better, relaxive, quiet space if it was clean?

Ju-just a suggestion I mean. [Lavi was in no way trying to change what ??? felt was his space. It's just making part of Lavi's mind itch, the part where the Exorcist dwelled and the chaos here made him suspect an Akuma was nearby. Even if he knew - and he did know - that there wasn't one nearby. Couldn't be.]

Which...? [Thinking on it as he looks down at the hay, unlike the rest of the house it actually calmed his mind.] Ah, the skin toughener? Might as well get the more useful one tested first, yeah?

[Nope, the only time he'd have to worry is if ??? was having a mental breakdown. He'd be actively avoiding everyone if that were the case, though.

At the question, ??? turns around to give Lavi a skeptical look before shrugging.]

It's just going to become dirty again if I tried. No sense in it, and I'm fine the why it is. [He doesn't have to worry about human diseases and the like anyways.]

Alright, then. Lemme see your arm. [He's grabbing the vile filled with silver ink and dabs his paintbrush into it expectantly after taking a glance at the paper. He's still trying to memorize the exact order of the array, but it's not too hard after a brief look.]

[Lavi would try his hardest to talk ??? away from that breakdown, they're not the best sort to have. Possibly try to write notes to him if he was avoiding folks.]

Well, yeah, I guess so. [It's just not how his own mind works.

It's less about the diseases one might catch but more about that saying that "a cluttered desk is a cluttered mind" and having everything organized is kinda like putting your thoughts together.

Lavi rolls up a sleeve of his shirt though without much comment, exposing half of his upper arm. He holds it out to ???] Need me to pull it up higher?

[He'd have to take it off, three-quarter sleeve shirts only go up so high.]

[???'s mind is more than organized thanks to his programming, so it's a good thing he can get a little messy with his workmanship. It helps to relieve some of his ever-present stress.

And no, Lavi, he does not need to see you topless, which is why ??? shakes his head as he immediately applies the ink. It may tickle a little, and it's a slow process to get the symbols perfect.]

Why did you volunteer, anyways?

[A good way of looking at it, something has to be messy. If not your mind than your workshop, so long as you remember where everything is.

There are some goosebumps popping up but Lavi does his best not to shiver from the cold ink.]

Curious. And a fellow I met when I first got here mentioned them.

Was it a kid named Aladdin? Not many people know about runic magic, but he runs the guild on it.

[Not that he's part of the guild, but he does try to advertise it by association.

As for the array, almost done except for two more symbols.]

["Aladdin"? Odd name, then again it was about as odd as his own.] No, it was a blonde guy named Dirk. He showed me where the hospital was, I arrived with broken ribs.
