Nope, it's actually a view of the sunrise from what seems to be on top of a building. Only ???'s hand is visible with glowing runes on the back: the source of the light that's gathered at his fingertips which he's writing in the air with. The bright letters remain in the air once he's done.]

I need a volunteer to test out some runes for me.

It might be dangerous, but I'm sure it won't do much.

I'll pay you and teach you some more if you want to learn.

Also the same goes for someone to teach me how to use a bow.

I'll be updating the runes book at the magic guild.

There's some you'll have to come to me to learn.

[A pause before he keeps writing:]

Which do you like better: sunsets or sunrises?

The arena's good for me. I'm familiar enough with the area...meet you out front in say twenty minutes?

[It's probably going to take ??? less time to get there once he finds the correct portals, so he'll be waiting on a bench outside.]

[And about fifteen minutes after they've spoken Draco will be flying overhead and landing on the ground just short of the bench. Today, at least, he doesn't look completely manic. Instead he's just striding forth toward ???, lifting a hand in a wave.]

Waiting long?

[??? returns the wave as he moves to stand.]

Not too long. [Okay, maybe a bit, but he's used to waiting for a long time.]

When did you start practicing with a bow?

Sorry. [But he doesn't sound that sorry.]

Several months now. Remember when all of the animals showed up in the city? I found a yak and the gods gave me the bow.

[??? doesn't care either way, but he is headed into the Arena.]

I got one of my weapons from my world after that. Was the bow from home?

[wasthemaster]

Hardly. I've never handled a bow in my life prior to this.

[key_illusion]

It could've been in your family, but I guess that makes sense since you're all about wizards and magic, right?

[Leading the way to find a practice room, ??? reaches out Telepathically to find an empty one quickly before shutting his power down. A peek in shows that it is indeed empty, and he then holds the door open for Draco.]

Think there's practice bows with the rest of the equipment? Never really paid attention to look for them before.

Precisely that. Perhaps some of our ancestors used bows and arrows and swords in addition to their wands when the Statute was first set in place, but I'm not aware of it.

[He'll just slip inside the room, glancing around.] There ought to be. If there isn't, I could always go back and get mine. [He's already heading off to browse through equipment.]

Well, they should have something for archery practice here. I'd be surprised if they didn't.

[Heading right after Draco, ??? skims over the equipment closet before catching sight of an archery set.]

Here we go. [He really has no clue how it works though. It's not easy like a sword or a gun (haha), so he immediately hands the bow and arrow over to Draco.] You're going to have to show me a few times before I get to the runes.

[Meanwhile, Draco's busy dragging out a standing target that he can use before snatching the bow and arrow.]

It's really not that hard. You're not entirely uncoordinated, right?

[key_illusion]

More coordinated than most people, actually. I don't know how to set it up properly though.

[So he will be watching closely.]

[wasthemaster]

[Though he's not verbally explaining, he's moving slow enough to give Sunny a visual about how to line up the arrow and how to aim.] It's really mostly about balance. Making sure the arrow's balanced so that you don't shoot yourself in the foot, actually. [And he pulls back, releasing the arrow to soar through the air and sink into the target.]

[key_illusion]

[That's good. It's easier to watch than to listen to an explanation.]

Balance, huh? I think I can manage that. [He Roxas has run up a skyscraper, balance shouldn't be an issue. ??? moves to retrieve the arrow from the dummy, looking it over before reaching to take the bow from Draco.]

Not too much beyond that then?

[wasthemaster]

Not much beyond that. [He'll hand over the bow then.] Let's see how you do.

[key_illusion]

Alright.

[As much as balance isn't normally a problem for ???, he seems to struggle with lining up the arrow. His brow furrows out of concentration and frustration, but soon enough he gets it lined up. After that, his aim is practically spot-on, and his arrow hits the dummy just about where Draco's had been.]

That's annoying. How are you supposed to do it fast while fighting?

[He's closely monitoring his technique, nodding in approval.] You practice. Eventually you can fire them off without pause.
