[Riku's been rather quiet lately. After the nightmares and Sora's disappearance, he's been a little sullen. Sure, he's gotten used to people vanishing, but so soon after those nightmares had his back up.

Today, today this is important. A certain someone else has disappeared, though he's sure the cute little Komory Bat just flew out the window out of curiousity..]

Hey, uh...

If anyone sees a little multi-coloured bat flying around the city, let me know? He's-- [Well, 'pet' would probably be the easiest way to describe their relationship here, but that's not what it feels like for Riku. They've fought together enough for him to not be just a pet.] ...I'm just taking care of him.

[Said little lost Komory Bat is having an absolute ball outside. He's been cooped up in Riku's room for over a week with the window shut and locked tight, and finally has a chance for some glorious freedom!

And he is everywhere. Flying around the Dark Carnival and enjoying the ghosts that roam around. Watching people train and compete at the Arena in Thor's district. Sleeping on the wall near the Gate of Fire, and perching and enjoying the sunset on the bank in Heimdall. In fact, he's almost everywhere but the park, which is probably aggravating for Riku.]

[Truth be told, he's never lost him before, so he's never had this problem.]

He's brightly coloured, so he'll probably stick out like a sore thumb in any areas that are still grey. [A pause.] I'm trying to get him to eat more normal things, but he likes sweet stuff. That would probably attract his attention easily.

Sweet things? [So nothing that he's made himself.] And it poses no threat whatsoever?

Not unless you attack him first. But he's virtually harmless here and isn't hostile at all, so it should be okay to approach him.

You have him that well-trained?

...It's not that I really trained him. It's just his nature. He's used to fighting, but he doesn't provoke people.

[He doesn't look threatening by his appearance either, but Eyes knows a little better than that.]

Then he is more your partner than just a pet.

Yeah. Yeah, he is. Not my main partner... [That's reserved for Sora.] But close enough. We fought together for a little while.

Then I'm surprised why he would run away from you.

[A sigh. This is what he gets for being overly-cautious.]

...It's probably just a small act of rebellion. He's the only one of his kind here so I wanted to make sure that this place wasn't effecting him badly.

And clearly he didn't appreciate being shut in if he is rebelling like this. The city itself has not been dangerous for some time, were you that worried or is it just because you wanted his company?

It wasn't exactly the attacks on the city. More like... if he'd get sick here or something. His world is kinda different from this place.

[A sigh.] I know he didn't like it. It was only for a bit.

[The same could be said for everyone, though...]

You'll attempt to appease him now that he has had his moments of freedom?

Not really appease.

Apologize first, at the very least. I just need to find him first.

And may you have the best of luck with that, perhaps he will return to you with new companions.

Joking about that might be dangerous. There's plenty more where he comes from. [Slightly nervous laughter.]

You'll just have to take precautionary measures, won't you? But thank only when he is returned to you. [And he'll definitely keep an eye out.]
