[Riku's been rather quiet lately. After the nightmares and Sora's disappearance, he's been a little sullen. Sure, he's gotten used to people vanishing, but so soon after those nightmares had his back up.

Today, today this is important. A certain someone else has disappeared, though he's sure the cute little Komory Bat just flew out the window out of curiousity..]

Hey, uh...

If anyone sees a little multi-coloured bat flying around the city, let me know? He's-- [Well, 'pet' would probably be the easiest way to describe their relationship here, but that's not what it feels like for Riku. They've fought together enough for him to not be just a pet.] ...I'm just taking care of him.

[Said little lost Komory Bat is having an absolute ball outside. He's been cooped up in Riku's room for over a week with the window shut and locked tight, and finally has a chance for some glorious freedom!

And he is everywhere. Flying around the Dark Carnival and enjoying the ghosts that roam around. Watching people train and compete at the Arena in Thor's district. Sleeping on the wall near the Gate of Fire, and perching and enjoying the sunset on the bank in Heimdall. In fact, he's almost everywhere but the park, which is probably aggravating for Riku.]

[He does, and plops down on his bed since she's rushing to see him.]

I was... trying to figure out how. [He'd have to explain a lot in order to explain little Komory.]

[She pauses in the doorway, looking at him curiously.]

How? Is it that complicated?

A little bit. He's not exactly a normal bat, though it seems like this place took away his abilities too.

I see! Well, do you need help finding him?

Yeah, I do.

He's mostly got a yellow body, but his wings are pink. Responds to "Komory".

[He could be as bad as her when it comes to nicknames.]

[Yes finally someone as terrible as nicknames as her!]

He sounds really cute! Where did you last see him?

Flying out my window this morning. I think he's been waiting for me to open that thing.

[In his half awake state, he kind of forgot that he's been keeping it closed so that the bat won't get lost. WHOOPS. SO MUCH FOR WANTING FRESH AIR.]

He's really sweet. You'd like him.

[Awww, sounds like someone needed to stretch his wings.]

I really want to meet him! [And to emphasize this she's going to grab his arm and start hauling him to the stairs.]

We should start outside, then. Who knows, he might not have gone far.

[He's almost tripping on his own feet for a few moments before he regains his balance and his cool.]

Maybe not. [He frowns a little.] Dog might help too, but make sure he doesn't try to eat him, okay?

Can do! [Probably.

She'll pause when they're heading down the stairs to grab Dog, who is sleeping in her room.]

I'll make sure he stays near me, okay?

Alright. [He knows Dog is pretty harmless when it comes down to it, but still. Worries are worries and poor Komori is about a quarter of Dog's size, if that at all.]

...Better bring some treats too. [And he's making his way to the kitchen.]

[Dog get some headscratches as she nods.]

Sure. Should I bring something along for your bat, too?

Yeah. Any cookies or candies should do.

Cookies and candy? That's so cute~!

[And here he comes out of the kitchen, holding a small plastic bag of supplies. There's treats inside; candies for Komori and some dog biscuits for Dog.]

Really? That's not what everyone else thinks. He's a little outside the norm.

[Dog wags his tail, immediately moving in to sniff the bag.]

I like things that are outside the norm! And I've never heard of a bat that eats candy before.

[Riku lifts the bag up from Dog's reach and shakes his head before heading for the front door.] Not yet, buddy.Not many would have. It's not normal for many animals. I think it's just unique to what he is.

[Euri nods, both her and Dog following.]

I see.

So I guess we should start close to the mushroom and make our way out.

[And out they go! Though the park is kinda big-ish...]

That'll probably be our best bet. How about we split up? To cover more ground.

Sure. [She gives Dog some ear scratches, gesturing west.]

We'll start over there.

Alright. I'll go east then. [But not before opening his bag and handing a couple of Dog's treats along with some candy to her.]

Holler if you find him, okay?

[She nods, taking the treats and candy.]

Sure!

[Then she glances down at Dog, whose attention is totally on those treats.]

Come on Dog, let's get searching! [And off they go!]

[No cheating, mutt. Those treats are for good behaviour. That's all.

Riku nods and heads in his own direction. With all the trees and the spring time feel of the park, he's certain that Komori would be around here; the bat's not completely used to staying in one spot all the time, and certainly not used to a lot of cities.

So ten minutes later, he'll send her a voice message.] Any luck?

[Euri and Dog will head off in the other direction, Euri keeping her eyes upwards while Dog prowls around and sniffs all the things. They aren't having too much luck so far, though it's at least a nice day out.

She'll respond to his voice message with a sigh.]

Nope, you?

[That seems to be their only saving grace right now. He sighs.]

Sorry I didn't bring anything with his scent on for Dog to use to track him. He... doesn't really have much here right now. Not in the line of possessions.

[Not a lot of toys here. Maybe just the blanket that he's been sleeping on in Riku's room.]
