[Hello, Asgard, big!Alice has something important to address, as she's sitting here making a daisy chain crown.]

Well, that's quite alright, I wasn't looking forward to waking up in my own house, anyway. I suppose it could be far worse. I could have ended up in far worse places, as I unfortunately know, other than with the little one.

[All Alice knows here she's not leaving the little... version of herself. For many reasons. And she still hasn't quite adjusted to calling her by her name, other than "little one". It's strange to have a duplicate of yourself, okay? Even for her. Darker colors to contrast herself and all.]

However, that is besides the point. There is a young girl here - no younger than eight years old - with blue eyes and blonde hair. Perhaps you know her by the name of... Alice Liddell. Whom I share the name with? Let it be known I will not be letting her out of my sight, lest you speak with me. Yes, it could me much worse, indeed!

[She might sound a little cranky, but cue an over protective figure of the sorts.]

.....Why? Are you her sister?

[Sisters of the same name...odd.]

[If this is the smaller version of herself, does that count, Alice wonders.]

Almost, but not quite.

What does that mean?

She is... me and I am her.

...What? How can you both be the same person?

Even I don't know the answer to that.

[Alice was currently sitting next to the older Alice, having no mind for the content as she promptly was making a daisy crown of her own. She had been wanting to spend time with the older girl, and something had felt like it was missing until she had ended up beside the other girl... Or well, the other Alice had ended up beside her as the other girl found her first.

She looked up when she heard her name being mentioned and that the older Alice wasn't going to let her out of her sight. Which Alice had to wonder if this was because the older Alice was worried about something. But what was there to be worried about when they were together?]

Never out of your sight? [She asked with curiosity.]

[She doesn't smile that often and when she does, it's as if she lights up. It reminds her of her older sister, Lizzie, who wasn't that much older than Alice herself when she was the little girl's age. That thought of Lizzie brings a warm smile to her face. She'd beg her sister to make daisy chain crowns when Alice couldn't do it herself; she was terrible at it. That is not much the case now. Yes, she would just think of her older sister and how her older sister would treat her.

Just as she settles her finished crown on top of her head. There we go. She wasn't sure why she was going to keep such a watchful eye on her. Maybe she needed it, it helped dull the pain and made her feel less lonely.]

Not for now, little one. I'll go where you go.

[Alice had just finished her own daisy chain but rather than putting her's on her head, she put it on her brown stuffed rabbit. Alice turned to look at the older girl and smiled back brightly in return. Little Alice's smiles were not so rare. They were frequent but always heartfelt and given freely.]

I don't really go anywhere, I have lessons with Miss Hermione and I like to visit the Doctor and other friends, but I've not many important places to go.

Oh?

[A small twinge of jealousy passes through her watching the little Alice with her stuffed rabbit. Either Mr. Radcliffe really did have it after Alice's stay in Rutledge or something else happened to her stuffed rabbit. But there's not much she can do in Asgard, and the older Alice's attention are on the little girl. It's one of the rare times Alice feels at peace. It's nice. Alice has also forgotten how much she would drive her sister Lizzie up a wall, roaming about as she did. This shouldn't come as surprising, even as the older Alice mentally cringes at any kind of social interaction.]

Then we will get to see your friends today, won't we? I will look after you.

You want to meet them! Oh Miss Alice they're sure to adore you! And then they can perhaps find a way to explain whatever... well, we are! Because it surely is the most curious thing here in Asgard. We've the same memories and the same experience but you're older and look different. But we both have a Wonderland and a Looking Glass and all the people inside of it are the same! I really do wonder if you are an older me! Oh and if you are I'm so curious as to what is to happen in my future!

[If she didn't know any better, she would swear her heart was twisting up. To hear something like that is absolutely devastating. Never should this little girl be wrenched away from her family and suffer so much at the hands of others. And never should she be wrought with guilt for what has happened. For her sake, she does her best to keep her composure; little Alice must really never know what happened back in Oxford. So she does her best to keep face.]

[And with a forced smile.]

Perhaps so. I will be absolutely honored to meet your friends, little one.

[Just to make sure they're good people, of course. She's finding herself becoming protective of the little girl.]

But don't think too far ahead. You still have much to learn and so much room to grow -- without the assistance of anything that says "eat me" on it.

Oh! But I simply can't wait to be a proper lady! Just like our sister and mother! They're elegant ladies, after all!

[That is enough to illicit another smile out of the older Alice. She's touched. Looking at her and affectionately, she rests her hand atop the little girl's head.]

You will get there before you know it.

[It was such a wonderful thought. Being a lady. Elegant and kind and polite, always knowing what to say and how to say it.]

I hope I'm a beautiful and elegant lady.

You will be.

[And she has to add.]

But you are already are beautiful and elegant.

[Even when being told such a thing from... essentially herself, Alice blushed deeply and became a bit more shy.]

Thank you, Miss Alice. That's very kind of you.

[That is enough to get a small laugh from her, something that even surprises her. Ever so gently, she pinches her right cheek.]

You are most welcome. You do well to remember that, even when there are times you may not feel that way.

[She gently rubbed her cheek but smiled.[

Well, hopefully I shan't feel that way very often, and if I do, I have you to remind me.

You should be fine, little one.

[After all, Alice Liddell is a bright, quick-minded little girl. Or she was as far as she could remember.]

Oh ah, Miss Alice, it's alright for you to call me Alice too. [It wasn't that she minded being called "little one" but perhaps the other Alice thought she couldn't call Alice by her actual name?]

I know. Forgive me, it still takes time to, ah... adjust to.

Oh the ah... the fact that you and I are... well, I think we're the same person, in any case.

Yes. But I will call you whatever you want me to call you.

Alice suits me just fine, Miss Alice.

Alice it is then.

I'm really very fond of it, after all. [She giggled.] I quite like it, don't you, Miss Alice?

Of course! You may make me like it more.

You don't like your name, Miss Alice?

Well...

[It's not so much that she doesn't like the name itself, more like the anger she has towards herself. Far too complicated and depressing to delve into.]

I would not say that, per say. I suppose I never fully appreciated it.

Well! That's something that needs to be fixed!

Rest assured, you are doing plenty.

Frabjous day then!

[ Well, at least Asahi has no bad intentions towards the girl, but she does recognize the name.. ]

Wait, are you and that girl friends? [ More in a "close friends" sense since the overprotectiveness here is.. pretty obvious. ]

You could say that.

In that case.. I doubt you need to hear this, considering your message, but please make sure to keep her safe. She seems a little.. well, you know. Naive. So I don't want her to be hurt.

[All Alices have the penchant for wandering, are you kidding.]

Ah. Well, she is only... seven and a half.

[Ha ha. Older Alice remembers the days she was practically bragging that as if she had turned eighteen along with her sister.]

That isn't unusual for small children to behave like that.

However, it is duly noted. I shall keep her safe and out of trouble.

[It's not a question of will she, the older Alice will make sure of it. Actually, while she's at it--]</small. Are you a friend of her's?

[ .. Well, true. And she knows it's not even unusual for some older people to behave like that, Koyuki's her age and just as naive.. but some part of her can't help but worry. ]

Sort of, yeah. We talked before and she was nice enough. .. I guess that's why I was a little worried about her.

She is impressionable.

[She knows how that is -- at least, from how she was when she was a child. It's strange, but the more Alice talks about the little girl, the more she can ease into it.]

It is difficult without her family here to keep watch over her.

Yeah. I'm sure that it's already difficult for most people to be here without their family, but for little kids it must be worse.. [ Especially if they're pretty attached to their family. ]

.. Well, if you ever need someone else to watch her for a bit, you can always ask me. I'll kick the ass of anyone who tries to hurt her for sure!

[Had she not said the phrase "kick the ass of anyone", Alice may have not reconsidered such a paranoid watch, for lack of better words. Inclining her head to the side, Alice gives a curt nod.]

I will remember that, if you have a name to offer, too.

Oh! Sure, I do! [ She's even just going along with the wording.. ]

It's Asahi. Asahi Yuki, that's the only name I have though!

[ She thinks it's so funny. It's not really funny, but she's laughing at it.. ]

Why are you laughing?

It's a joke! Since.. well, you know, I don't have any other names to give since people only have one name, and.. [ .. hm, the joke's sort of lost now even on Asahi, the buzz completely killed. ]

Well, I thought it was funny, either way.

I... I'm sorry, I'm afraid I missed the joke. But if you thought it was funny that's what counts.

[She's being sincere.]

[ .. Huh. Maybe this girl is a little like Giorno - she seems like it, either way. A little too serious for her own good, but she can help with that. ]

Don't worry, I promise that one day I'll make a joke you can laugh about too! For sure!
