[Leonardo da Vinci had always had a great fondness for horses. He loved to sketch them, hear stories of them, even keep a few himself when he was able... but this level of obsession was new. Today he found he could not tear himself away from the eight-legged horses in Gefion Park especially one in particular, a solid black mare. ]

This is the most pazzo thing I have ever...

[(Crazy)]

Even worse than the water walking shoes.

[The inventor looked to the horse, then to the Freyr house... specifically to the window of the room he stayed in...

...
...
...

And then over to the giant horse lifting crane standing at the ready by the side of the building.
]

Why can't I just leave the animal where it is!

[ My security blanket is a horse?!]

Why would you wish to? It is a splendid example of the equine species, isn't it?

But... is that not a touch extreme?

Madness is a highly underrelated experience. Within what many consider madness is found inspiration. Perhaps you should stay a day in the stables with her? That might be a solution, yes?

A stable-owner minding an officianado enjoying the company of a bit of straw? I cannot imagine that it would offend anyone, and stairs are not good for a horses's hooves I would expect.

... nor would that infernal slide.

Boredom, I imagine. Boredom is a very good motivator.

[Loras smiles; a rare one.]

I do hope you know how to care for it.
historyrabbit: (shock φ Oh where do we begin)

[Welp.] Why not...try the more conventional way?

Is that practical?

[Altaïr looks and sounds slightly baffled.]

Depends on how the banister is placed. Horses can climb stairs after all. [They actually used spiral ones in firehouses to keep them from going upstairs.]

...that is not a language I am familiar with.

[He chuckles.]

You people.

I am a knight, and a horse is like an extension of my body, when I am upon it.

I am not from worlds with those strange motor things.

A horse created by these gods, no doubt?

... be extremely careful and have a healer on hand in case something goes wrong. A hoofbeast does not deal with breaks easily.

Strange? No, there is nothing strange going on in my life. [Dab of the grungy towel he's carrying around like Linus.]
