[For some, the individual who appears on the screen will be familiar; for others, less so. He's not particularly remarkable, expression calm and voice even, though his stare might be a little more intense than a normal person's usually is.]

I did not expect to find myself here once again.

[He has a brown duffel bag in his arms, just visible at the bottom of the bracelet's screen, which he glances briefly down at before looking back up once again.]

I presume the apocalypse has still not come. Can anyone tell me where we stand as of now in regards to the gods and Ragnarok?

[A pause.]

What day it is would also be of use.

Yes.

[He tilts his head.]

Humans? How?

What does He mean to you? God.

They created beings from Adam and used them, created from that which they hate, to fight Angels.

Nothing. I have never met Him.

They created beings from an angel to fight angels? Why?

Neither have many humans. Even in mine. And even so, they still seem to have great faith in God.

As I've told you, it's an angel's desire to return to Adam, fuse with it and become one with it. If that was to happen, Adam would reawaken and reclaim back Earth. [ a small tilt of head ] In other words, all Lilith based life would be erased.

God abandoned us, and abandoned humanity. There is no reason for faith.

Oh. Of course.

[He sounds incredibly unimpressed. Of course that would be the goal of the angels.]

Do you say that because God hasn't helped you and your siblings during war?

I say it because it's the truth.

Why did the angels of your world wish to do something that would destroy the humans?

What if He has faith in you? Than you can overcome it without him? That you can and you will reach for more, only if you allow yourselves to see it?

[ he shakes his head ] The destruction of Mankind was not the objective; our instinct is to join Adam and that's what drives us, and erasing the Lilim is a consequence. While we didn’t desire their deaths, we didn’t care for their lives either, and didn’t think hurting them as a bad thing. As matter of fact, before I saw you all as children, waiting to be fixed. So young and in such pain, never knowing what to do with it - I couldn't understand how you still wished to live.

[ but Kaworu smiles, very gently. Caring too. ]

I was wrong. It's true, you are very young and you feel pain so very easily. You lose faith just as easily. But you can heal yourselves, by yourselves. You are capable of that and so much more. [ actually, this is very much related to the first question above ]

I thought that, for a time. I don't any longer.

[If God believed that, He was wrong. And He should have stepped in once that became apparent.

He's quiet through the explanation, frowning more and more as he goes along, irritated with the entire thing for more than one reason. Irritated and suspicious all at once.]

Acting so carelessly is what the angels of my world did as well. It's why I left.

I am not young.

[It's true in general, though he is young for an angel; he says it more as a test to see what Kaworu will say in response.]

[ Kaworu will smile gently at that. Because he didn't mean of age, rather he meant it of soul. But it doesn't matter, Kaworu accepts it if Castiel doesn't consider himself young. ]

Do you hate Him? And the angels of your world?

[The smiling just annoys him; it makes him feel patronized.]

No.

[They're still family, and while he might hate individual siblings he doesn't hate the other angels as a whole, or his Father.]

What about God in your world?

I'm glad.

[ there is a small shake of his head ]

There is no being you may call "God". There is, however, the power of God. That is something humans want.

What is that, then? And who created the angels, if not God?

[ there is a small pause ] It's a long story, forgotten by many. I don't think many care for it, either. After so many years, it didn't matter anymore. Not to those who are still alive.

I am curious.

[ he nods ] Long ago, long before Earth and the Sun existed, there was a race of beings that held the power of knowledge and the power of life. They were what humans would refer as "God" if they met them. However, all this power and knowledge was not enough to save them from their dying planet.

So they did what they could to ensure some part of them would live on. They created beings that would originate life on a new planet, progenitors by the name of “Seeds of life” that were placed inside a carrier, "Moon". Souls of this ancient race boarded the Moon, waiting at the Chamber of Guf to be reborn again in another world when the Seed of Life arrived there, spilled its blood and from it grew the Tree of Life. The Seed would create the bodies and the cells with its blood and the Tree would release the souls.

[He listens carefully, fascinated, and more than a little confused.]

That is... Extremely different from my world. It sounds more similar to many of the stories of the other gods.

[ In Kaworu's world, they picked up this story and created the bible from it. ]

It varies from world to world.Yet, it still holds similarities.

[ he will continue his story. It is a long one ]

There are two types of Seeds of Life: Fruit of life, whose progeny would gain vast physical powers and strength, and the Fruit of Knowledge, whose offspring would master scientific knowledge and developed civilization. Planets where Seeds holding the Fruit of Knowledge landed, culminated with intelligent beings who built civilization - like humans -, and planets where Seeds holding the Fruit of Life landed, creatures like Angels would emerge.

On a planet only one Seed could arrive, because if not, the result would be a creature possessing both of these halves and consequently power on-par with that of the First Ancestral Race. To ensure this, to the vessel Moon they added the Spear of Longinus, capable of immobilizing the Seeds, and they added the Dead Sea Scrolls, a manual so to speak, that described everything I have been telling you up until now, and also it explained how to use the contents inside the Moon vessel, such as the Seed and the Spear of Longinus.

[Castiel is quiet, following along with the story, even as odd as it is. He can see where some of the aspects of it might've inspired stories in the Bible, if their worlds' Bibles are similar, though it's definitely very different from his world.]

Adam, the first Angel, is the Seed that holds the Fruit of Life and Lilith, the second Angel, the Seed that holds the Fruit of Knowledge. And to Earth, as an accident, both arrived. [ Kaworu lowers his eyes for a second ]

Adam arrived on Earth within the White Moon but before it filled the planet with its descendants, the Angels, Lilith’s Black Moon accidentally crashed onto Earth. This is described as the "First Impact", and the amount of fragments created as well part of Lilith’s vessel fused together and formed the moon that orbits the Earth, the one Lilim see up in the sky.

However, during this Lilith’s Spear of Longinus was destroyed and Adam’s Spear was the only functional Spear on Earth. This is the reason why it was used on Adam to place it in stasis and leaving Earth for Lilith to populate, instead of Angels. From Lilith's blood, Lilith’s progeny was formed: the Lilim.

Animals, plants, microorganisms. Every living being on Earth was then descendant of Lilith. And it would have been like this, until the humans found Adam.

[This story has a little of everything, it seems; Castiel is fascinated by the elaborate tale, even if he finds it more than a little strange and unbelievable.]

[ Oh Castiel. If you knew how ~~fucked up Evangelion is~~ strange everything actually is and was... ]

Upon reading the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Humans found out about the power of Gods. Adam and Lilith joining as one. Already having Lilith, they needed Adam. So they proceeded to create the “Contact Experiment” which happened 15 years ago. This experiment involved a human and Adam – they fused human DNA with Adam, reawakening it.

At the Contact, Adam attempted to reclaim the Earth and fill it with its descendants, for that's what a Seed is meant to do. Humans tried to subdue it with Adam’s Spear of Longinus, but they were only partially successful and caused the being to self-destruct. The worldwide annihilation of Lilith-based life was averted, but not without cost: a global calamity known as Second Impact, which destroyed big part of Earth life.

However, the being didn’t fully destroy itself. Its body returned to the state of embryo and its soul was placed inside a vessel created at the time half human-half angel, by the name of Tabris. This vessel, humans named "Kaworu Nagisa". [ a gentle smile ]

[There's silence for a few moments, as Castiel tries to process all this.]

So humanity combined the archtype of angels with a human, tried to kill it, and then its essence entered into a nephilim, and that is you?

[And he thought his world was confusing.]

[ Kaworu nods softly ] That's right.

They did the same with Lilith, placing its soul inside of a human vessel.

I wish I could say they didn't realize what they had awakened at the time. However, Humans knew perfectly well what they were doing. It was what they wanted, in order to obtain the power of a God.

So there is another individual somewhere in your world that is Lilith?

Humans tend to involve themselves in things they don't understand, as do most other species.
