6 Little Ghosts ☠ Audio
Ugh, I guess this will work. [Oops, someone turned on the audio feature a little too early. Oh well.]
Hi...everybody.
Tomorrow's the day we have to meet up at Gate of Fog, right? I was wonder who else is going. I kind of want to go...but I don't know if I could swim for a long time. [Actually he really doesn't want to go, but if it's to help Freyr, then he'll consider it.]
Anyways, I uh ended up talking with Hel awhile ago, and I got to ask her a few questions. So... [He clears his throat before reading off:]
I asked her if there's a place we could go see and talk to spirits who have moved on here. She said that her home, called Niflheim, is where dead people wait to "fade into the energy of the world". Apparently, it's not a place where the living go to because it's kind of hard to get there, and there's nothing to support living things either. [Imagine that.]
Second, I asked her what happens to Travelers who are dead back home, and Hel said that they're returned to where they came from and the state they were at that time. [So...dead again.] She told me not to ask why they bring dead people here, so I didn't.
And...the third question's kind of really important-- I asked her why we end up leaving. I didn't really get it at first, how she explained it, but it's like holding sand in your hand. You can try holding a lot of it, but some of it falls through and you can't really stop it. So, it's not that they're trying to get rid of some of us or getting rid of people we care about on purpose. It's because they can't prevent some people from going back to their world. If I'm remembering correctly, she said...uh, "We will not be done with you until this war is ended, one way or the other. "
That's it. I don't think I can explain it much more than that. But...I hope it was helpful anyways.

Oh.
[That... would actually explain a lot. So it really is inevitable, then...]

Ah, but you had a very detailed conversation with Hel! Bene. You actually received answers to many questions. I'm sure a lot of people will be interested to hear these things.
[Even if that means finding out some of the people they met here are dead again by now. Leonardo can't help but spare a thought for the people he knows that this must have happened to.]

Thanks...I'm just glad she was willing to answer them. She seemed kind of frustrated when I assumed that we were being sent back home because they didn't need us.

Often they seem to think we should understand everything without asking. But, I'm glad she put up with the annoyance long enough to give you your answers.

You come, I'll help make sure you stay safe.

Uhhh, thanks. [Well, at least she seems to be "herself" right now.] Do you think...it'd be too much for me to go?
no subject
No, I don't think it would. Honestly, having some different perspectives would be good if we find information down there, and you're definitely not like a lot of people here.

But that makes sense! I always considered that our existence here wasn't stable at all. We're probably an abnormality, regardless if they brought us in or not.

What do you mean by abnormal?

I'll be going there as well. I don't want to miss out on what I could learn if I passed it up.

That's good. I've never been on a trip like this, but I want to help Freyr.
