Spiders are pretty much built like something that shouldn't exist in any normal place- too many eyes, too many legs. Most insects are downright nice-looking compared to them, so it's honestly pretty normal you don't like spiders, because they tend to creep out people more than most. Though, you're probably more afraid of their appearance than anything, which suggests that you don't look past that to see that most of those things are pretty useful, when you get down to it. Getting rid of most insects and all... You see the thing as it appears to be, you don't see what they do.

Though, honestly, I don't like spiders either. There's something...vicious about them. I'll squash a spider any day, but still, our world would be overflowing with bugs if they didn't exist, so at least they serve some sort of purpose.
