♛ 2nd Curious Thought [Video]
[She's pacing in front of the screen. She's also mumbling to herself. Something about "naughty words" and "all of them" but it's clear she's mumbling. Around her is a room full of sketches, she's been practicing although that isn't what is important. She just keeps pacing. If those who could read her thoughts were able to do it through the bracelet, they might find such interesting imagery of total madness. For what is a little curiosity without proper madness? But she pauses finally. A deep breath and then she looks at the screen, finally remembering why she turned it on in the first place. She looks at the screen and then offers those on the other end a brief curtsy.]
I do beg your pardon, but where might I find a chess set? A proper wooden one? I know that there are... ah games that they give us but this is one I'd like to keep for myself. [A simple enough request, of course... but nothing is truly simple where Alice is concerned. She presses a hand to her lips in thought as she gazes at the screen again. Well, why not. The gods certainly don't seem to care regardless.]
If I may ask... out of curiosity, are all the gods like Mr. Thor? [And please, please let them not be, she hopes.] I mean to ask... how often, exactically, do the gods... decide to speak to us? [This was a first for her, although now she understood why so many seemed to dislike the gods. She's got many thoughts going on at once. So many things to think about. So many questions to be curious about, to wonder about.]

I think there's an antique store that sells them. I've got one set, but it's from my world.

[ it wasn't a good memory, since apparently people were getting stabbed left and right. ]

And no, nothing is alright, sire. The god Mr. Thor was very rude.... I don't know any naughty words but if I did he would be all of them.

[ There's something grumpy in her tone as she says it. ]
And they talk whenever they feel like it.
Oh dear... well this isn't going to be nearly as pleasant as I had hoped.

Yeah, don't trust them too much, okay? I bet they'd just mess around with someone like you if they had the chance.

Do you need to purchase a new chess board straight away, or would you be satisfied using someone else's for the time being?
no subject
I don't mind playing on someone else's board but I do wish to get my own at some point.

Why are you asking, though? Did Thor-sama tell you something?
Nothing worth mentioning, I don't think.... Wait... "sama?" [Hello strange word.]
[voice]
[Oh dear. More people being cruel to her little girl. She's not at all surprised to hear Thor's name.]
While I have not spoken to all of the gods, Odin seemed better than his son. Not perfect and polite, mind you, but better.
[Voice]
And someone did mention shops. I do hope it isn't terribly expensive.
Well, if any of them are better than Mr. Thor I shall consider it an improvement.
[Voice]
Is it important to have a wooden one?
He was quite grumpy and very rude, wasn't he?
[Voice]
And yes, yes he was! Hung up on me and everything.

I'm not so sure. Perhaps you are simply far more imaginative than I. You'd certainly fair better as a wordsmith.
