[It's taken him some time to accept everything without kicking up a fuss at every turn, but being so worked up about the abrupt change in scenery/direction/PLANS was exhausting. That, and the fact that he'd met with a handful of inhabitants helped him settle. It was like finding a stray animal and giving it a name — just like that, you're attached.

So yeah, he was going to accept his duty to defend this place or whatever. He was an absolute pushover when it came to helping things in need, but there were some lingering questions... concerns, really.]

If we're supposed to be savin' this place, and the guys causing trouble're overpowered dipshits... [Not even a hello, and he's got a stick hanging out of his mouth. Not like a branch, more like a tongue depressor. The sad remains of a delicious ice pop.] Then what's the big idea about takin' away our powers? S'like this place wants the bad guys to win.

Does anyone out there actually have their weapons from home-? Starting from scratch is gonna suck, bigtime.

So far I've only seen Pika and Red's Pikachu, but there could always be more. There's so many of them in the forest that I'm from.

[ She clasps her hand against her mouth to muffle a soft giggle as she shakes her head, leaning a little closer to study him as Pika continues to staaaare, deciding what to make of the boy's pointed teeth. ]

The gods were always here, this is their world. They're only trying to protect us. Besides, I'm sure your power is a lot better than you think it is~.

If you used your powers here, you would... die, basically. This world makes it so that powers that aren't given by the gods will be too much for your body to handle.

To answer the other question, I never used weapons - so I don't have one with me. I never had powers before coming here, in the first place...
