A bit preoccupied I have been with trying to learn more about this place. Of course, I still have much to learn, what with the recent events that have transpired, but I'm sure it won't be of any hindrance of things that will come up in the near future.

But that's not why I'm making this. I feel this may be a little more personal, but with the way things are, does that really matter at this point?

[He placed the rose down, his eyes shifting to the bracelet on his wrist.]

"Resolve". That word has been stuck in my mind for quite some time. What exactly does your "resolve" involve? Is it one to be admired, or is it one that is grotesque and horrifying? I've been told that mine has been rather admirable, yet to others, it might seem reckless and rather terrifying. However, I achieved my "resolve" a while back, making me rather...content.

...what is your resolve? [The rose finds it way back to his hand, as he plucks a petal from it.] I want to see if I can admire it.

I thought it would deal with demons, at least. You trained her as well, I take it?

Nope. She doesn't actually need it. She's already pretty strong willed as it stands. I can't actually help a lot of the travelers. There's some who aren't that strong willed, but most of the people the gods bring here are strong enough.

Most days I'm helping out natives when I'm doing this, and it's not an everyday thing.

From the people I have met over my time here, they already do seem to possess a very strong will. But, like you said, some...don't seem fit in this world at all. But then again, who knows what their role could be here...?

You help out the natives? In what?

Considering that we're bringing emotions and there's always support parts in a war, it's less surprising than you'd think. And yeah, aside from the shop, I try to offer lessons in resisting this power to them too.

A good offense means nothing if you don't have the defense to support yourselves. Hm.

I don't think I've had the luxury of visiting your shop in the time that I have been here. I might consider it, though. I'm assuming the lessons are free of charge, though?

Definitely. I won't charge for this sort of thing. For you, though, it'd mostly be to teach you what it feels like. I'm going to assume you're fairly strong willed.

And what if I weren't? [He's only joking when he says this. If he wasn't strong willed, then he'd be as good as...well, dead.] Ah, right, I would need training myself if I were to ever encounter...her.

Oh, I'm pretty sure you are, try as you might to blow it off. But it would not hurt to at least know what it feels like.

You figured me out, Signorina. But the question is, when are you actually available to train me properly? I wouldn't want to disturb you in anything you're doing.

Any day you want. I've got plenty of time right now, so we can pick a time during the day you want to stop by.

You just took me a little by surprise is all. I didn't expect you to ask right now, considering our talk. It's fine.

...hm~. I'll say this about me; I'm not the type of person to do what other people would think. If I see something that fits the situation, might as well take advantage of it. Like this opportunity.
