[ At first there is only audio, a childish voice that carries with a bright, slightly high pitched tone. ]

I know they're probably out of season, even here, but --

[ And then the video feed clicks on and Yellow beams warmly into her bracelet, Pikachu perched upon her shoulder, blinking curiously as his ears twitch backward. ]

There we go. Ah, hello! I was wondering -- [ She lifts a hand to wave as Pikachu presses forward, sniffing at the gem first, before nuzzling his cheek against it. Have a sudden burst of red, Asgard! The child giggles as she coaxes him back onto her shoulder, ducking her chin. ] We were wondering if anyone knew a good place to pick apples.



ooc note| Yellow is a ten year old girl, but currently she's trying to mask her identity, long blonde hair tucked beneath her straw hat. :) Feel free to have your character catch on, or be completely fooled.

Probably not for another couple of months. It's still winter-y around here.

[ She reaches to tousle the fur atop his head and his ears twitched, his gaze still locked upon the video feed. ]

[Huh, cute kid. And that's...one strange looking rat-thing you've got there. Still, Duo is just going to smile and dip his head in greeting.]

Sorry, I haven't seen any apples out yet. Maybe once the weather warms up you can grab a few for me!

[He's joking, really. See! He's winking just to show he's kidding!]

[ Duo may be joking, but she seems to take his words to heart, holding up a trio of fingers as she leans a little closer, causing the Pikachu upon her shoulder to wobble a little, finding his footing. ]

I'll find three, then. It's a promise.

[Okay, this kid is just too cute! He can't help but laugh as he lifts a hand to rub the back of his neck.]

Okay, then! When they come in season, I'll be expecting an apple from you!

[He smiles brightly at the kid on the screen. It's so easy for little kids to win him over.]

Now, who is it that I'll be expecting apples from?

[...Interesting creature, there. Even with the flora and fauna of his world being different as it is, he hasn't seen anything like that Pikachu before. He'll try not to stare too much, however.]

I think one of the houses has the ability to manipulate the growth of plants... Maybe you should start there?

[ As Shun stares, Pikachu decides to stare back, his long ears giving a twitch as his companion hums a soft sound of excitement. He scrambles a little closer, partially obscuring her in his curiosity. ]

That's perfect, thank you! Do you know which house?

[ She doesn't bother to click the video feed off, if she indeed knows how, and so Bianca is suddenly awarded a view of Pikachu's paw! Oops. ]

There're other fruits available too. You just gotta look in the stores a little. Couple trainers here make poffins too, if that's his thing.

[ . . . Aaaand he blinks blankly at her reaction, but people who knew him weren't far and none. A fan, maybe? (at least, that's what he liked to think...) But, he composes himself the next moment. ]

It's not the season yet, I think. [ Red was pinged by the fact she had a Pikachu, too! His own stares into the screen inquisitively.

Such a strange sight. The yellow mouse thinks as he tries to get a closer look. ] But you can buy them.

[ Pika's ears twitch at the voice, and he scrambles forward with an excited Chuu pika pi, his pressing against the gem again.

Yellow seems just as excited, speaking somewhat breathlessly as she pulls the mouse into her arm, holding him close as his eyes fix curiously upon the second Pikachu. ]

... Yeah. [ Very used to random people somehow knowing his name, but the way she says it sounds different from Ethan and Lyra (who are crazy). Pikachu will continue to hog the screen and stare at Yellow and at the other Pikachu...

No one he knows and he knows Red's fanclub like the back of his paw. He squeaks at Red with a Pikachu pi! so his trainer gets it. ]

[ Here's someone else with his attention caught by the Pikachu, but mostly because he has no idea what it is. Giles has heard of Pokemon here, but never encountered this kind-- so don't mind the staring. ]

Um-- given such a presence of magic in the city, I expect there's somewhere you might find fruit out of season. I couldn't tell you where to start, however.

... may I ask what sort of pet that is?

[ Staring? What is staring? Neither party seems to notice, and in fact Pika stares back, her hand reaching to rub between his ears as they twitch backward with the new voice. ]

Do you mean Pika?

[ He leans forward to sniff at the screen at the mention of his name, drawing back to nudge at it experimentally with his forehead. ]

He's a Pikachu! Do you not have pokemon where you're from? There's so many of them in my world. He just happens to be my best friend.

If you're willing to ask someone of House Sigyn, maybe they can grow an apple tree for you. Or maybe even ask someone of Freyr, I heard that they can actually draw things and they come to life.
