[ Guys, guess who's back from Utgard. No really, guess. Never mind that she hadn't said anything about leaving to begin with. ]
I was among the first travelers who arrived at this city.
[ younger and more naive she was; when things were much simpler than they are now. She and Merlin, together, before all the others. She wonders if they'll end this journey together too; him and her, destiny and doom, at the end of this tale. But no - that is too much for now. ]
The first people I have met here were Lord Boromir and his companion Aragorn but they are long gone. As well as many others.
[ The ruthless, angry queen is absent today, it would seem. Perhaps Morgana is tired; tired of slipping into the role of who she knows now that she will become, tired of slipping back into who she was and is no longer. And what does that leave her with? ]
Will you write letters for when you are sent back? The deities do not allow us goodbyes, after all.
( ᴘʀɪᴠᴀᴛᴇ | ᴅʀᴀᴄᴏ ᴍᴀʟғᴏʏ )
I wish to thank you.
[ action; Morgana is nearby New Camelot! Maybe she's lurking, what's it to you? She's wearing breeches and a tunic, a braid falling down her back. She doesn't seem to be doing anything but stare at a shadow across the grass.
But then the shadow rises, small in the sun and walks towards her. A moment later and it is gone. To those who might be around New Camelot, you might see an uncertain lady toying with her power. ]

[Action]
[Mordred speaks before stepping up from behind to reach for Morgana's sleeve. He had lingered several paces back, watching her magic.
He's not tried his power here. He's had no reason to. And yet still that lady had recoiled from him....
...but the troubling feeling from that encounter is fleeting when it is replaced with his smile only for Morgana.]
I have missed you.
[Action]
[ she beckons him near; wondering who dared to name him such. ]
She must have been the stupidest lady in the city. Even with your magic, you are a boy. She cannot call a boy a witch.
[ there is a small smile on her lips, sincere, the warmest she manages these days. ]
Next time she says that, tell her to cease talking or you shall introduce her to a true witch.
Re: [Action]
She is not of this house. She is one of the new ones.
[Then as if she were telling her a secret he lowers his voice]
She spoke of witches stealing hearts and asked me if I used my magic for the same.

I've started a few letters. It's hard to put all I have to say in them.

[ there'a a small smile on her lips. ]
It's been a long time for us. The longer we stay the harder it will become.
Ah, you've already started too then?

[ a smirk. Ok, she's being annoying, isn't she. ]
To those who would remain after you.

I didn't know people did that.

[ she cannot put her finger on it. ]
There is too much to say and too few parchments in the world.

I wouldn't want to go without saying goodbye.

If they will not allow us to say goodbye, perhaps this is the only solution.

But he won't talk about himself. Not now. Instead, just ... something simple. Something shared. Who knows where it'll go? ]
Mary left one in her bedside. She mentioned you quite a lot in it.
[ text ]
Mary.
[ another person she tossed out of her life before she was sent back and the guilt is, for a moment, overwhelming. They whispered secrets in the dark, Mary and her, held each other and comforted each other after nightmares and Mary said she is returning to a terrible fate and yet Morgana ignored her all the same. It is far too late now.
But then there is Arthur; will they not be returning to terrible fates themselves? ]
Will you tell me what she said?
