I think, in a way, that it's more like he severely likes intrusive or what he sees as repetitive, foolish or unecessary questions. It makes him very hard to speak to, since he won't fill us in on what those are.

The difference is why I respect Odin even if I don't like him. Hel outright and intentionally misinterpreted simple requests about getting access to research materials so we could assist better as asking for petty lessons or demanding things I never asked, and used it as excuses to snark.

She does not wish to help unless it interests her, and on top of that dislikes having her 'time wasted.' The only one wasting time is her.
