Six [action/video]

[Freyjadour had not been gone long, with the way time flowed in Asgard. But several eventful weeks had passed for him, and it showed in the person who suddenly found himself standing in Freyr district. Not only had his appearance changed somewhat, with his hair cut short and the clothes he arrived in being far different from how he usually dresses, but there's a bit more ease in how he carries himself now to those who know him well enough to see it.

It had not been long enough for his memories of this place to become very clouded, and the first thing he does after walking around a bit to get his thoughts and memories in order is to locate the steps outside the theater, where he takes a seat, fumbling with his bracelet for a few moments as he remembers how it functions before starting a video recording. He smiles a bit wryly at the camera, but he seems to be handling being dragged back here surprisingly well for the most part.]

I suppose I should be grateful that these gods deemed fit to allow me the chance to return home. It has been a while..... Can anyone tell me how long I have been gone?

[It's entirely a coincidence that Eyes happens to be walking out of the theatre when Frey stops to sit down. At first he doesn't pay much attention, after all from the back Frey could be an entirely different person, but once he gets closer he can't help noticing something familiar about the man, and it takes little to figure out why once he gets a proper look at his face and hears him broadcast to the network.

His eyes widen only just a little, he hadn't thought Frey would return so soon if at all. The fool.] Barely even gone and your presence was sorely missed.

[Freyjadour leans back on one arm, glancing over his shoulder to spot the person behind him. It takes him half a second to place the face as his memories of Asgard and home continue to piece together into something resembling coherence. It was a bit odd, having a good year of memories return after simply vanishing when he returned home.]

Did my absence cause any problems, Eyes?

More than I care to explain. [So yes, a lot of problems for those who were closer to him. There is, however, a sense of relief that comes off of Eyes as he comes closer, standing by where Frey was sitting and keeping his gaze forward rather than on them.]

You'll have to make rounds to reassure those who missed you.

I see.... You have my apologies for any trouble you might have had. [He closes his eyes for a moment as he lets out a silent sigh. He already knew Lyon wouldn't have taken his absence well, and he was certain he would have missed some work for however long he was gone.]

Don't apologize. [They may not have a close bond, but he had every intention of looking after Lyon even when Frey was still here. That vow had only affirmed itself more after he had left, knowing firsthand what it feels like to stay be left behind.]

Do you still intend to work here?

... You cut your hair? [Yes this is relevant, for whatever reason. Even if he does feel a bit guilty that he hadn't even noticed he was gone.]

[The shortness of it was still something he was getting used to, admittedly. But it seemed like an odd question to ask.]

Wonder why. [Shrugging, he scratches the back of his head while wondering what to say next. They weren't that close, after all.]

It looks good on you.

Ah... thank you. [It was a bit awkward, wasn't it?]

[More than a bit, he's still not very used to small talk here.]

The way you make it sound, it's almost like you're glad the gods decided to bring you back.

[Lyon's face appears on the bracelet almost immediately after Frey's own broadcast ends, her face already streaked with tears. The past few days without him have been rough on her. She hasn't even had time to properly deal with the thought that she might never have been able to see his face again, but here he is like nothing had ever happened. Like it had all been a bad dream that Lyon is finally waking from. Unable to contain herself, and uncaring of who sees it, she breaks down and begins to cry.]

Prince! I was so worried...!

[The smile on his face fades at the sight of her in tears. It hurt, just a bit, especially after seeing her looking so happy back home, only a short while before.

So he had left her behind, when he left. He felt guilty for causing her such greif, in spite of knowing he hadn't been given a choice in the matter.]

I'm at the theater. [It seemed as if the gods had seen fit to drop him right where he'd disappeared from, in Freyr district.]

I can meet you halfway, from wherever you are?

[He wanted to see her as soon as possible, as well.]

I'm in the apartment. I'm leaving right now!

[She sniffles a bit, wiping the tears from her eyes and smiling brightly as she rushes out the door.]

[ That guy Lyon said went home.. it's him, right? She vaguely does remember talking to him before, but still.. it's a relief he's back. For Lyon's sake. But Asahi is Asahi, so she can't help but raise her tone like she always does. ]

Hey, what were you thinking, leaving a poor girl all alone like that?!

My apologies... the gods do not ask if you have a preference in the matter.... or ask at all. [Really, it seemed as if leaving Asgard is quite the same as coming to Asgard.]

I would have asked for her to return with me, if at all possible. Thank you for taking care of Lyon for me.

Still, you should be more careful.. [ a huff - she does get it, but since Asahi is so.. Asahi, she can't help but still be like this. ] Real guys would fight anything for a girl's sake!

I plan to be.

I'll find some way to make sure they do not send me home again without her. [Now more then ever he didn't want that to happen. The trouble would be finding a way. A swift end to this conflict, perhaps.]

... Are you planning on talking to them about it? The gods, that is.

[ She's sort of curious if anyone at all could convince that stubborn bunch. ]

[ Oh man, a person who's come back. Always seemed it would be disorienting ] Do you remember what was happening in the city when you left?

[He pauses for a moment, events still meshing oddly between home and here.] There was a snowstorm the month before. I know there was a tournament in progress when I left, as well.

Then you weren't gone for more than a few days. The Magic Tournament is still going on.
