[ Natasha isn't quite certain why she feels as if she should say anything to the general public about this, or why it's her responsibility in the first place. But it seems like it's the trend here to make announcements when these things happen and .. there might actually be people out there who care to know. She can think of one in particular that she's spoken to on this matter.

Information is the key to winning a war, even if it's being informed about the other combatants. ]

Loki has disappeared. It appears that he's gone home. If anyone knew him, I thought they might want to know.

[ Oh wait. There are two Loki's, aren't there? There is a small pause before more text appears on the screen. ]

The one from a different universe, not the God.

[ On the contrary, she's not celebrating. How can she? Why did Loki get to go home with she was forced to remain here, uselessly gathering information and observing, waiting for a battle that she had no stake in? She was a spy, not a soldier. Natasha didn't belong here. If she could swap places with him, she would. ]

Was he a friend?

Again? I barely saw him this time around. That one always kept his own company, didn't he?

[This lady again! And she's mentioning Loki? Huh.]

Did you know him? He was kind of strange.

Didn't know him, but that's a pretty confusing name to have around here.

A friend of your's?

[that's a weird question. though not given the fact this person doesn't know the context. and considering.. ]

Yes. Why do you ask?

[ if anything, she's angry. but unlikely to show it. ]

Not quite a friend. [ an enemy. ] An acquaintance. The only person from my world who was here.

Did you spend time with him at all?

He does what he wants. There was another Loki here before him?

No. Just someone I barely knew from home.

[ actually, an enemy, but it doesn't matter now. that's how she knew he was gone - she'd been keeping tabs on him. easy enough when he lived across the hall. ]

No, I'm pretty damned sure it was him. I just didn't talk to him much when he came back, so I'm not one hundred percent sure. He's been here twice.

I wouldn't say we spent time together, but we talked a few times. Are you going to miss him?

Well I remember what it was like when one of the people from our world went home. That's why I was asking, that's all.

[Peeta had been a big blow on Katniss, and when he thought Annie had gone home he had definitely been upset.]

He was just an acquaintance. [ who happened to slaughter innocents and blow up most of new york city. ]

I suppose it was nice having a familiar face around.

[ that's a complicated question. her life had certainly been more thrilling with Loki around, even if she hadn't uncovered some grand scheme of his to take over Asgard. and having someone who knew who and what she actually was .. it was nice, to say the least. but missing him? what did that entail? ]

In a way. He was only an acquaintance, really.

Any chance of him coming back again this time? Does that happen often?

[ first time natasha has ever heard of it. ]

Oh. That's still too bad, though. Is there anyone else here from your world?

No. Just me, that I know of. Loki said there had been others in the past.

So it's like that... [ he sort of gets it, though obviously not entirely. there's really only one reason he can think of why you'd say use the word "acquaintance" to describe someone who's left. ]

Sorry, then. I guess it's rough being... alone like that.

Vriska did it once too. I haven't heard of anyone doing it more than once, though, so I can't say for sure. I'd say it's probably possible, but I doubt it happens much.

He could come back without his memories though... so you never know.

Yes. Thor, Clint Barton, Tony Stark and Bruce Banner.

Do you know any of them?

I suppose I won't hold my breath, then. [ not that she'd be looking forward to that. Loki certainly did make things more interesting here. ]

It may even make things easier. He might have gotten in the way of the war here. [ a beat. time to change the subject. ]

Are you .. new?

Isn't Thor one of the Asgard gods? I had a friend in his house.
