[ While Allen is perhaps not one to bother the network at large himself about much of anything personal -- this is a little different. And straightforward (simple) enough. ]
When someone wants to get a camera --
How do you go about it?
An actual one [ not this ] with film. [ Or -- chips. Or... whatever they use. Because the ones from his eraof technomagical bullshit are kind of different.
Aha...
As if by means of explanation: ] They're not quite like the ones I'm used to. [ Or he's gotten unlucky in not stumbling across more traditional ones.
So there's a sheepish but polite smile, and a smart nod. ] Thank you.
[ Though after he's turned the feed off --
He'll be leaning against the kitchen counter (Odin 102) to flip through a few photographs in front of him. Four, to be precise, and (presumably a fifth) face down a little to the side. Softer at the edges already, but only a little. Like he's kept them in a breast pocket for a couple days. Not smiling, but not unhappy, either.
(Timcanpy too, on one shoulder and leaning forward as well.)
If anything, just a little distracted and pensive. ]

He heads to the kitchen after, noticing Allen. ] Hello, Allen. [ he comes closer with a smile ]
[Action]
And smiles, straightening a little when Kaworu enters. ] Kaworu --
Welcome back.
[ Ah. Setting the photographs down. ]
Action]
His red eyes notice the photographs, but he doesn't ask about them yet ] How was your day?

He moves over to help with the groceries, glancing at them a little as he does so. Purely habit and idle curiosit— ]

No meat ever?) ]Yourself...? [ But still idle, distracted. Polite autopilot. Timcanpy's going to be half-landing, half-clambering onto Kaworu's head in greeting as well. ]

Ah, no. It's fine for that.
But I mean, something that can make actual photographs. That you can frame.

[ n o n c h a l a n c e ]
It sort of came up the other day.
Remember how Johnny used to take a lot of pictures? [ Even ones of you, Link. Even if you never did learn to smile properly for one... ]

[What is technology.
The most advanced technology in his world is steam engine.][video]
Allen's been here a while and been subjected to it enough... But mostly that's in breezing past and ignoring it with just headtilting a bit every now and then, unless someone actually shows him something. ]
[he needs to read about modern technology one day.]
