Mécanisme 002 [Video / Action for Heimdall House]
[There is a metallic clanking and a bit of shuffling as Hugo orients himself around a massive piece of metal and gears now settled in his lap, fingers testing a bolt here and then gripping a thin steel rod there that in turn makes a wheel move and with it the next. He smiles as the wheels spin in the air and the rods cycle up and over without catching. When he is satisfied he turns his creation into view.
An engine, one nearly the length of his arm. What had begun as a small idea and a small project has grown and now as he sets it on the ground has taken shape in dusty black and red metals and large silver wheels, rough at the edges, but all in all a fine looking locomotive for what he had to work with and his lack of practice.
And as a final touch the name "Cabret" is painted in bright golden yellow on the side, just above a few dent marks left by his hammers.]
I need somewhere to test this...
[He lifts up a handful of coals from a nearby table where crude but workable track pieces sit in a stack ready and waiting to be laid out somewhere.]
...any ideas?
[[Private to Ja'far]]
The train is ready...I think it's going to work.
(ooc: image for a general idea of what the train's shape looks like, obviously without the fancy finishing touches, extra parts, and showroom quality.)

Re: [Video]
Then... do you want to come see it? Once I set it up?
I would love to.
Re: [Video]
[He smiles but there's a little itch at the back of his mind. Now he really hopes that it works with all the people he has coming to see it]
[To Action?]
But what he hasn't said is that not only is it set up...it WORKS. He wanted that part to be a surprised.
And Hugo now sits in the middle of the large ring of tracks with the steam engine speeding about him as he waits for the Doctor, proud expression on his face.]
[To Action!]
It works!
Re: [To Action!]
I was afraid it wouldn't but...
[Well, it is, isn't it?]
[To Action!]
[ He'll just be following the train along the track, rubbing his hands together. Oh, he loves this. ]
Re: [To Action!]
Eventually I want to add a bridge, and a turntable... it'd be more interesting than just a circle.
[Action!]
