[ He's got a handle on what's going on. At least, as much as most new people do. Hey, and for his effort, he's starting to learn how the people speak over the network... or at the very least, how to feel people out for how they act.

[ Yuri's taken over the living room slightly, one giant wolflike dog stretched across one of the sofas entirely. He's experimented with the television and after about an hour, he's got a movie rolling of the standard action-with-a-twist fare.

It's not a movie without food, though. There's a tray of pizza bagels (thank goodness some instructions are easy to figure out) on a coffee table.

He's practicing his telekinesis by tossing an occasional bagel to Repede by levitating it and tossing-- at least, Repede's good at catching. ]

[ even though she moved out of loki, she still visited the house often — she had to keep an eye on her fellow trolls, after all.

and this was as good a time as ever to make an entrance.

she waits until one of the bagels is in midair before using her own telekinesis to try and throw it back at yuri — gently of course. maybe the dog would jump on him if it worked, do it puppy do it... ]

[ He catches it with the palm of his hand. Repede does indignantly whiplash and snap the air where the bagel should have been. And proceeds to whine. He wanted that bagel. ]

You know, if you wanted to feed him, you could just ask.

[ He tries levitating the bagel again to see if she'll take it from him and try herself. ]

That's not as fun!

[ ...she feels bad for the dog, though. she takes a few steps closer, leaning against the side of a chair. and then flicks it back towards the dog.

she can't resist sad animals okay. ]

[ushahin was intending to head to the kitchens, and what stops him isn't the movie, or the pizza bagels or the guy.

it's definitely the wolfdog]

Ah, look at you, little brother.

[he holds out a hand to repede so that the dog can catch his scent. the one that remains at his side is crippled, its fingers knuckled and crooked. there's something just slightly off about his posture, and half of his face is hidden by his hair]

[ Which would get Repede to roll over and raise his head in a chuff. He does respond when people gesture to him; he's smart enough to realize when people are talking to him. ]

[ And meanwhile, Yuri just sort of looks on curiously. ]

[he seems to know dogs, in that he approaches with his visible eye slightly averted and his hand relaxed and open until he's within reach.]

It's only... you're asking something intimate, aren't you? Shouldn't you be more forthright about your reasons? "Tell me your thoughts on justice, so I know if we'll make good friends" seems... strange.

Justice...? It's a hard question.

I only know that I don't think I have a right to judge anyone's actions, but I also know that it isn't justice when the law punishes those who didn't do anything wrong.

What about the reverse? When the law won't punish someone who did something horrible?

Of course justice is important! I mean, who would just want to let bad people run around doing whatever they want to do without repercussions?

'Whatever it takes' is pretty loaded, though. What if the stakes were really high? Or the crime was really serious?

[ This is a question that's been posed before, both here and in his home realm as well, whether spoken aloud or not. Certainly not an easy question, which may explain the anonymous veil over it. Hrm. ]

The pursuit of justice is paramount to any society, though it's hardly anything so easily attained. Still, I would seek it to the end of my days.

By whatever means necessary.

Would you chase them or agree with the law?
