[the post is video this time, which is probably good for those of asgard who were totally horrified by how awful seth's spelling can be.

seth looks a little tired, a little grey at the edges still, and with a certain set to his mouth that suggests he's not quite as okay as he's acting like he is. he's good at fronting, though, so it's likely that only those who know him well will be able to pick up on that undertone.]

So, I just wanna take this opportunity to repeat for the record that losing your bracelet? Is a really, really bad idea. [he exhales, propping his chin on his crossed arms and looking at the camera.] Seriously. Don't do it. It's weird. Not good, nope.

[a pause, and seth blinks a couple of times, tiredly.]

Did I miss anything in the last two weeks?

[And he is too. Conan's getting this down to a fine art, knocking on the door to Seth's room as he enters without any more preamble.]

They say once is bad luck, but twice --

[Wait, something's off here.]

Are you dressing up?

[...pauses in the middle of buttoning up his shirt, looking a little like a deer in the headlights even though there is no necessary reason for seth to feel guilty.] Yes?

[Conan shuts the door behind him. He was intending to take Seth out for a meal because he'd feel bad grilling him about what he remembers of being grey on an empty stomach, and isn't sure whether he's been pre-empted (how?) or something else is going on.]

There a reason?

Yeah... I'm going to a friend's house for movie night. I figured it'd be a good way to kind of—uh, take my mind off of it? [it had seemed a sound logic at the time, although seth has got to admit that he's not totally feeling himself yet. still, better to go out and be with people and contribute to the recoloring of the world (or whatever) than sit by himself.] Was there something you wanted to talk to me about? I have some time before I have to go.

The usual. See if you remembered anything that could explain this and let you know about the things that happened while you were out.

Who's the friend?

Ah, yeah. I should have guessed! [it's affectionate the way seth says it, though—conan's just a really inquisitive guy, and seth is plenty used to it by now.

he takes a seat on the edge of his bed, then pulls his legs up to sit cross-legged.] The friend is Superboy—hey, take a seat if you want. What is it you're looking to know?

I suppose I am predictable.

'Superboy'. That's a real name?

Ah -- well, if there was anything leading up to it this time around ... ?

It's a superhero name. He's a superhero!

[seth's pretty sure the answer to conan's question is no, but he spends some time thinking about it anyway before he shakes his head.] Not that I remember. I mean, if you're asking about anything that woulda told me that things were about to get weird... yeah, not anything.

I suppose we did have Wonder Woman here once ...

That's what I thought. I wonder if there are no signs or if we aren't able to detect them?

[seth figures it's a rhetorical question, but he still shrugs anyway, because his mama taught him that not replying is rude.]

It seems kinda like by the time anybody's gone grey it's past the point where we'd be able to tell anyway.

You might be right ... Still, I might look into the letter and diary found at the castle again.
