[ Yuri's finally successfully turned on the feed! Behind him, a dog is taking up the majority of his bed, sleeping. ]

I'll be quick, because from the looks of it, the 'I get nothing going on' gets old quick. If someone can forward me a guide, I'll read it over in my own time. I'll only shake someone down for a full rundown if I really have to.

What I really need is a sword. Where to get one, if I need one made, who can make it, and the IOU's that come after that. I'm pretty sure I can wrangle out the right amont of money-- [ Legally, or illegally. A sword is important enough to break rules. ] -- for anyone who can supply.

[ There's a bit of a sigh, and following; ]

I'm Yuri Lowell. If there's anyone who knows that name, I need to talk to you ASAP. [ Even if it's not a friendly face. ]

Repede? He's...

[ The dog lifts his head to look over at the screen. ] Well, he doesn't consider himself an ordinary dog, but he doesn't consider himself human, either. So maybe.

[ Does the dog have a faux mohawk or something. It's kind of cool?! Pikachu squeaks before waving to see if he can communicate with these strangers. ]

Can you understand him then?

Yeah. When you've had a friend like that for so long, it's easy to understand them.

What about your friend there? Can you?

Yeah, at least generally. Sometimes he thinks he can play charades, but... [ They're not that good.

If not, it doesn't seem to relate to what the yellow mouse is referring to most of the time. ]

Repede just likes listening in on conversations and giving his opinion.

[ -- And a bark in the background. ] -- And he says he wouldn't word it that way.

[ Oh, sassy dog. ]

He sounds and looks cool... [ Colored him stricken with awe--or the lack of emotion for it. Pikachu will look at Repede for a bit, then try to speak (pikaaaaa) to him even if it's off screen now that the mouse is out of view.

Does this dog understand?! ]

He's just a good friend.

[ The dog will roll over and make his way to the feed. He still doesn't know what this screen is, or understand it at all. It doesn't stop him from poking around it... ]

... Does he battle?

[ Pikachu will paw the screen... You look very scruffy, Repede. He wishes to touch the dog's muzzle and jump onto his back and ride into the sunset. ]

He does. Can hold a blade in his mouth and fight just as good as any swordsman.

[ Repede will chuff at the screen and put his nose closer to it. He's a proud, noble warrior who doesn't give rides! ... unless it's to stuffed animals. ]

... That's kind of dangerous, isn't it? [ Kind of like a samurai dog? Still very cool, holy shit.

And Pikachu can pretend to be a stuffed animal. Unlike this proud, noble warrior, Pikachu believes himself to be a fun-loving, gallant prince.

Okay, maybe not the prince, but something close to an adventurer on the somewhat prissy side. ]

He can handle himself. He's the noble type, you know?

[ Repede definitely fancies himself the noble warrior type-- even moreso than his 'owner', so he maintains an aloof, but curious expression through the feed for now. ]

... He looks like a dark type. [ He tilts his head one way, then the other. ] Or a normal type.

[ Not that this probably makes much sense, but that's what he thinks. ] He does look noble though--like a shaman.

Hear that, Repede? You look dark. Dangerous. No wonder the girls flock to you. [ ... instead of coming to talk to Yuri. ]

He definitely thinks of himself that way. Wise beyond his dog-years.

[ Dogs usually mean +50 cuteness anyway-- ]

Sounds like you don't really need charm. [ THOUGH TO BE COMPLETELY HONEST, he thought Yuri was a chick for like 10 seconds. ] My name's Red, by the way.

[ Since... It's weird (for once he thinks it is) that he didn't introduce himself at least. ]

Nice to meet you, Red. How many of those pets do you have?

They're not pets, but I have a lot at home. [ It might be more now. ]

Though I only have two here in Asgard.

I guess... But he can't breathe fire here. [ So only half the luck. ]

Makes sense. If our abilities get played down, it only makes sense that our companions' do too.

What abilities did you have anyway? Back home...
