[ Scott isn't new here, but the following video will make it seem like he is.

Last night he went to bed sixteen years old, this morning he woke up in the body and mind of his eight year old self. He has no recollection of where he is and no memory of anyone he knows here. Waking up in a bed beside a mysterious sleeping lady (aka his future girlfriend) pretty much freaked him out. He found some keys in the room labelled "Allison's Pet Store" and took them, wandering around Freya until he found the store and locked himself inside, thinking it might be a safe place. Any customers or employees who come to the store might find it odd to see the closed sign on the door when the store should be open.

After poking the gem on his bracelet out of curiosity and discovering it was more than just a bracelet, he's managed to record himself in a video, hiding under a desk where the cash register is. ]

Hello? Can anyone hear me?

I need help. I think a lady kidnapped me. I need - my mom, I need to find her. Or Stiles. [ His best friend will know what to do. ]

Can someone help me? [ He starts to sound tearful. ] Please?

I wanna go home.

Okay. I locked the store from the inside so no bad guys can get in. You should do a secret knock at the door so I know it's you, not the kidnapper!

[Oh dear. Merlin's sort of amazed that the owners haven't found the boy yet, but it is early enough in the day...]

I'll knock five times. That should be good enough, right?

[ The owners haven't found him yet because he is the owner :| Oh Scott... ]

That'll work. Thanks, mister.

[Give him a few minutes to work that out.

Scott should hear a series of five knocks at the door not too long after the call ends.]

[ Scott reckons it's safe to answer the door after hearing the secret knock. He has to unlock it first, then the door swings open, a small boy looking up at Merlin with a friendly face. ]

Hi! I'm Scott.

[Merlin's just about to say a greeting himself, when he chokes on air instead.]

Sorry! It's just. [He coughs.] You said...Scott?

[Like the owner of this shop?]

Yeah... [ He looks at Merlin worriedly because of all the choking sounds he's making. ] Are you okay? Do you need water? [ Not that he knows where to get some. ]

No, no, that's all right. [Merlin crouches down, studying the boy more closely. There is some resemblance...]

Should we go look for your mother?

Yeah, let's go! [ Scott closes the door behind him and figures he should lock it too. He's not sure what to do with the keys since they're not his (or so he thinks). He keeps them for now. ]

What did you say your name was?

[He's fairly certain Scott's mother isn't actually here...well, he's done this before, when Conan had the same curse. He'll figure something out along the way.]

It's Merlin. [Merlin holds his hand out for Scott to take. Wouldn't do to lose him now!] Why don't you tell me what she looks like?

Your parents named you after the wizard? [ Scott takes his hand. ] She's pretty and has curly hair that's the same color as mine.

Er...yeah. That's...exactly it.

[No way is he going to have that conversation with a shrunken version of Scott.]

Sooo where do you think we should start? You'd probably know her better than I do.

Do people make fun of you because of your name? My best friend has a funny first name so he makes everyone call him Stiles.

She's my mom, I know her better than anyone... Can you take me to the hospital, please? I think she could be there.

My name? Oh...right. Merlin. Nah, it's not that strange where I come from.

[He pauses, figuring out where they are, then leads them onto another road.] Hospital it is. Makes it easier for me, too. [He grins.] So what's Stiles' real name?
