002 ☁ voice ☁ action for freya
[It's a very uncomfortable sort of feeling, watching yourself do things, speak and generally go about life here in Asgard, and have absolutely no recollection of ever having done it. Every conversation had, every argument, every emotion recognizable in tone, expression, action. She recognized it all; it was herself, of course she did.
But it was like watching a clone, someone who looked, acted and sounded exactly like you, had to be you ... and yet, how could it? Had she really lost all those memories? Of ever being here, of meeting all those people, making friends, seeing-- She'd even met the bowtie-and-tweed Doctor here before. Had seen ... His Ninth self, too. He'd been here. Rory, Arthur, countless other names and faces she only just barely recognized from meeting them here this time around.
She felt violated. Sick to her stomach, yet curious all the same. She could never fully block out the nagging itch to find out more, to explore it more, to find more evidence. But it was all right there, just a few months back- even more recently so, i she were honest. She had only just been here ... and then vanished again. Just to return as she was now. Void of memories.
So she stays in Freya for the morning, long through the afternoon, only venturing out to the more populated areas as evening draws near. Only then, does she find words lingering loud enough in her mind to bring them to voice.]
This sort of thing happens all the time then, does it? Memories being taken away.
[Her voice doesn't waver, but ever inhale seems shaky. Uneasy.]
Why?
